They use repetition which makes things funnier. Watch the episode of Ralp slapping some guy in the face over and over and over again, it's hysterical.

I actually have segments of a series of him saying Bang Zoom to moon and pow right in the kisser. At end of the seg I also have a clip from Jackie Gleason Show where Audrey Medows goes into a Rocket Ship, Reginald Van Gleason smashes champagne on it and says, "I dub thee, Moon Glow" ; the rocket takes off & lifts up toward ceiling w/smoke etc.. Perfect ending. I don't recall why I couldn't post it yet, maybe the videos were too faded, not sure. I'll hae to look into my collection.

Examples: You are a Mental Case, Blabermouth, Get Out, You're The Greatest, etc.. etc.. to name a few of his numerous sayings that if played in a row are hilarious
