Cheers, I've since got a new saddle (tourer style) which a massive cut out which is healthier for the prostate and my nuts :). I find the comfort rasonably good as well. It doesn't look all that racey and it's a bit heavier than a race saddle but for the 100/150 gram extra I think it's worth it!
Does that much lean forwards not hurt your nuts or gooch (area between nuts and ass)? Serious question, becuase I ride bikes a lot and I was wondering about changing the position but it looks uncomfortable. For example one time I sort of did this and my dick went numb, it was scary!!
@claudruiz It should be scary! Nothing should ever go numb! Sounds like poor fit / geo. Can't say anything on the matter better than Sheldon Brown: sheldonbrown com /saddles.html
@claudruiz If it's going numb your seat was too high, I know there is seats with "kickups" in the back so you can sit more on your ass. Fi'zi:k seats (Spine Concept)
@claudruiz thats what shorts are for...... lol my uhhh.... "regions" usually hurt like hell after a tt....... sooo uhhh just more padding .... or a better seat.... which means more weight but fuck it i want kids
Very "bouncy" from the hips!!! Crank length is wrong. Add that to a poorly adjusted headset/aerobar configuration and you get a rider that looks very un-comfortable on his bike. He keeps moving around trying to get comfortable in the saddle. Although, I get the TT/aero helmet thing... I train as I ride too!
It looks like your seat tube angle is around 75 degrees, I think you'd benefit from a 78 degree seat tube angle and shorter crank arms to open out your hips.
Yes, the wearing of my time trial while doing this video was to show my coach what the time trial aerodynamic fit looked like. I made the video for him mostly.
Yes, wear a helmet! One big suggestion I recommend is sun screen also, I have not seen anyone wearing sun glasses either. O ya, maybe rain gear also. I have seen some riders put news papers in their jerseys also. I hope I did not forget anything else....
The reason why he wore a helmet is because he is recording it. When he records it, you can look at your head position if it's correct. It isn't necessary but it's a good idea.
I hope all your time trials are in a strait line with no cornering.

obviously not or he wouldn't ride it. seat position and stuff is a little different on TT bikes than regular road bikes.

i'd use a shorter stem!

Raise the saddle about 8-12 mm and lower your bars with a 17 degree stem
