I dunno where this guy gets his facts but they did not fight naked......I think maybe at some points certain greeks may have fought naked, but the spartans did not. They actually wore more armor than what was depicted in the movie 300. They wore lamellar chest guards at least and I think some kind of skirt like armor that covered their thighs above the bronze greaves. He fought for a good amount of his life, he was a kickboxer and an MMA fighter, no one forced him to do this it was his own choice and I am sure he does not regret it. He was alright at around this time, and he was legitimately drunk (he was actually known for being a party guy, still is!).
