oh, this for sure!!!! This gun is good for crosman. the r76 lasts about an hour in battle, jams, and breaks in a few days. i know a few people who have experienced these problems

I don't really like air soft guns that have rechargeable battery packs. You can use them for a little bit but then once the battery pack runs out you have to wait a few hours to use it again.

i bought one of these not long ago, and it seems to me the hop doesn't work at all. i roll the wheel up but it doesn't do anything. is it supposed to stop rolling up at some point? is there a way to fix it? mine is the improved version with 325 fps and the battery in the butt of the gun w/o modding.

You can take the butt of the gun off. All you need to do is take one screw out then slide the small rod that the screw is attached to. The only problem with taking the butt of the gun off is that the back of the gun will have some wires hanging out and it's wide open. I might suggest taking the weight that's inside the butt out if you're looking to take weight off the gun.

crosman reccomends .2's with this gun. and when they say 275fps, they mean it in the reccommended bb weight, which is .2's. but its probaley 280ish. 5 off. no big deal. its definatley not 275 wth .12's. by 275 they mean it with .2's

What I heard from people must be wrong then because like 10 people told me that it shot 275 fps with .12s. Where exactly on the package does Crosman reccomend .20s for this gun? I do agree they work better than .12s. Alot of Crosmans guns are listed with the fps for .12s so I can't beleive they list this one for .20s. I know the R76 is listed for .20 gram bbs though. It doesn't make much since to list the Air Mag C11 for .12s when they fly everywhere and nobody uses them in that gun anyways lol

thats the way most pulse r72's break. try to unjam the barrel (theres likely a bb in it) then clean it out and lube it. crossman makes most of thier guns unopenable so if ur gearbox or somthing you have to buy a new one. if my tip doesnt work you have to buy a new gun. (not a crossman gun).

no, i havent made any repairs, the mag looks like crap because i was goofy one day and put an army strong sticker on it and when i peeled it off it left the sticky part on it and i cannot get it off.

i only did a few external mods.. they didnt change the ROF or FPS..

I upgraded the battery and moved it to the stock because when it was in the foregrip, it was hard to remove/put back in.

I also put in a metal gearbox because the plastic one couldn't do a darn thing.

And I've upgraded the barrel to give it more FPS and accuracy.

And my last mods were getting a M110 spring and I swiss cheesed the piston.

So basically after I was done, the gun could well match to $300 gun. When I get a new one I will mod it all the way and change the body to a metal one.
