Basia Trzetrzelewska is really easy to pronounce, I am serious. In fact for me as a polish person it's quite the opposite, english world's like; wreath, wreatched are the real toungtwisters.

Rolled up tounge, speaking with wide open mouth, it is a real mouth gimnastics? How can you produce sound if your lips never touch each other? :)

You see, it all depends on the point of view, and whatever your mother tought you first :)

I fell in love with her sound and music from the moment I heard it. There is no one else like her. She has a style that embraces so many genres of music.  "An Olive Tree" is definitely one of my favorites, also "New Day For You" and "Take Him Back, Rachel." I am elated that she has recorded another album again and look forward to its release.

Also, "Sweetest Illusion" has a far superior sound quality in the final mix & editing than the 2 previous CD's, Time & Tide & L.W.NY. I hope the new CD is released with the same quality.

Basia had much sadness,sorrow & greiving to work out of after her Mom past on. I know, because my Wife of 20 yrs. & my Mom past away within 3 months of each other.

I've been searching on youtube "new york afternoon" a song by "matt bianco" (as you probably know that basia used to be with him before breaking up) but i couldn't find it!! :( do you know or have you ever heard that song ? it's one of my favourite basia song with "half a minute" it's similar bossanova jazzy sound :)

New York Afternoon was sung by some other group which sounded like Matt Bianco...they are called Mondo Kane feat. Dee Lewis & Coral Gordon...unless MB did a cover I don't know about. xx
