I go into 720x480 while playing my wii/gamecube games ...and it just skips like shit. If you could reply to this, that would be great. I think it's my graphics card ...ive done every S-Video and Composite setup possible ..but it looks like goat shit still. I'm on a Toshiba Satellite L505D, 4GB of ram, and a decent dual core AMD Processor. 2.25 GHz Processor I believe ...even with both the cores on, it just sucks.

hi! um, im having this problem, just bought my dazzle some days ago, but when chosing the dazzle dvc 100 in the studio 11 capture source menu, it say:

valid input signal has not been detected.

Please check your cables

ive tried to solve it but dont know whats wrong :( it works from my xbox to the dazzle and tv, but doesnt show up on the computer! (tested on 2 different one) plz help! :(

hey, thanks, a few things i didn't use before. but i have a question. how do you view the clips you capture in sony vegas without "making movie" in pinnacle. or do you make the movie in pinnacle, and if so, what settings do you use?

hey man, i need some help. i have a pretty good computer and when i am in best quality before i enter the game it is good.. when i start up the game it is good. (not laggy) but as soon as i enter a game it goes horribly laggy. i'm not sure if its because the usb port isn 2.0 or if my comp just sucks.. i have like 4 gigs of ram and a decent amd processor. any help?

@Dignifycommentary It's most likely because your computer doesn't support USB 2.0. That's one of the requirements to even use the dazzle.

@bonezz66666 i know my computer does support usb 2.0 because in the device manager it says so. i just know all of the ports arent usb 2.0 and i'm not sure which ones are..

@bonezz66666 If his computer supports 4 GB of RAM there is no way it doesn't support USB 2.0 (for normal Home PCs).

To people who say there video is speeding up, its because your dropping frames. THis can be caused because you have an old computer that cant handle so many Frames per seconds

I honestly cant figure out how to set it up. for some reason I dont have the same type of program everyone else is using to get HD. I have Pinnicale Studio Version 14 HD. and your's is totally different from mine. Is there a way to set mine up like yours so i can record my gameplay in HD. I do have the 3 RCA Splitters and double ended Rca cord.

Well, that would mean you're computer isn't even fast enough to record at the quality you're attempting to record.

You could try my new settings video but lower it's quality from 100% in pinnacle to about 80-85%

@iTzM40A3 It means that your computer does not have enough RAM to support the recording, thus speeding it up to compensate for the lack of RAM. This can easily be fixed by installing more RAM.

@Mithboy1 yeah i fixed it,i had to uninstall the program and re-install it and it was fine.

@Mithboy1 No,all you had to do is follow the simple install instructions,it might ask you for the serial number or whatever but all you have to do is re-enter that and you'll be fine.

Try looking at all the settings. There should be one called capture preview.

Have you tried installing the drivers yourself from the main website? Google this

dvc 100 drivers

Click the first link. That should help you. Sometimes whenever you plug your dazzle in for the fire time it doesn't discover the device and automatically download the drivers. In this case you have to manually download them.

Then there is no profiles

so how do i get the HD things into pinnacle like you did?

If you don't have a s-video cable you'll have to use Composite.. I'm assuming you're trying to do S-video without a s-video cable.

Mines doesnt work Full screen now.. look at my quality test i used these settings and it worked but then i used the exact same one's last night and it wasnt full screen.. ill upload it and show you.

You have to right click on the video in vegas and uncheck "Maintain aspect ratio" each time you go to render a clip.

Oh I'm assuming you mean the black bars on the sides of the video when you upload? The ones that go outside of the little "play" bar at the bottom? You can't get rid of those...

But as long as you upload at 1280x720 it will be "Full screen"... Maybe you're forgetting to crop? I have no idea.

Hmm.. You could also try changing 960x540 in the project properties to 1280x720 and see if that fixes it.. I would need a picture or something to see what your talking about.

Do you have a s-video cable? If you don't have anything going into the S-video port on the dazzle it won't do anything.

The DVC170 is basically the same as the DVC 100 except it comes with pinnacle studio 12.. which you can just pirate anyhow.

Im rendering right now , i had a problem with the shitty DivX tho , every time i went to HD , the quality only went to 8, and i checked taht other thing , but every time i would save , it would show in qmobile, i fixed it tho

I've been trying to find new settings that match the new YT resolution (1920960) and I can't find anything that works.

But the reason it goes to 8 instead of 10 is because you need the full version, which can easily be pirated.
