No it's 77 hits not 97 it just looks like 97 cause of the background gfx.

The not perfect video quality makes it hard to read sometimes.

The max hits in KI2 are 255 hits without cheats but you need to abuse the throw bug to go beyond the 80 hits limit. Really boring stuff and that's why I have not added it on the vid.

A lot of these combos seemed to consist mostly of "shadow boxing" opponents that were several stories up in the air, which I would imagine wouldn't be possible had this game ever been finished.

Ive still got KI (the black cartridge lol) for snes in storage and KI Gold for N64. Ahh memories, I remember liking this better than Mortal Kombat (for the actual fighting, some of these fatals were "too" corny or repeated).

I prefer the regular killer combos and ultras, the ridiculous juggling and hit off screen charac. takes away from the badassness of the charac combos imo. I know its a glitch someone found long ago but for me its pointless. nice vid

Oh a little more about the post throw combos. I could never figure out how I got the glitch to work. Basically what you do is do a normal combo, autodouble, then throw juggle starter, wait until they almost hit the ground and then hit them with say Jago ninja slide and if you time it right you will hit them and they will stand up. Then you can add on a presure like Jago towards+fierce kick. Jago laser blade also works as an opener. You can't always use autodoubles though.

I played THE HELL out of the N64 Version of KI2 and loved it. It was a bad port but it had some BAD ASS glitches too! At least Rare put in those awesome cheats for every difficulty that you beat the game on. I LOVED the N64 analogy stick for pulling off supers like Jago Super Wind Kick, etc. Modern analog sticks suck now. And I found this awesome glitch where you can do ground combos after throw juggles, but I dunno how to reproduce it now. And the manual explained the entire combo system!
