i got an 02 s55 amg and and i put in one 12 inch sub and its sounds good but out of no where it like shorts out and gets louder from sub to door speakers it all just like gets loud if someone can tell me what they think is wrong

@eddiefakhoury its the logic7 system doing that to keep the sub from blowing...if you just turn it to the manual sound adjustment it shouldnt do that...my cls55 did that same thing

I was still rockin the factory speakers. I only keep a car about a year so i didnt think spending a ton of cash on the speakers would make the car worth more when i went to sell it. But my new project is a 2000 CLK 430 that i am going to replace all of the speakers so its got a good clean sound..

Go for alpine. my friend has a jetta with ONE TYPE R and it is so loud, it is every bit of 130 DB, and he got type s components and you think his sub is on. ALPINE ALL THE WAY!
