Everytime I think of these games, chills runs down my spine. I just love how everything is so perfectly planned and awesomely put together to create a story that reveals itself through every game. That's true quality and it makes everything much more enjoyable.

I say the timeline isn't complete, because if link had a possibility of losing in OoT, then the same posibility should have been there in skyward sword, leading to a world that is wasted and the survivors fight for the remaining world.

Everyone wanted the mystery of the timeline to stay, but there are still a lot of unanswered questions about the series. I am actually glad they put a timeline into it, because its not just a bunch of random games anymore, now there is an actual story behind everything.

Have you ever thought they used the words in your video so they could explain the timeline better? Besides, it could just be a misunderstanding, they might have just happened to use the same wording and song. Or maybe they were inspired by your video. Take it as a complement. Its happened before. Heck, there could be something for the timeline that uses your words as well. People tend to go with the stuff that makes the most sense and is short and to the point.

Everyone's talking about timeline theories ending but I don't believe they will! I'm sure Nintendo won't announce where each new game comes out in the timeline (like they did with skyward sword) so will every new game people will try and fit the new stories into their own theories and again there'll be debates and arguements and things that don't make sense and things that completely do.

Then maybe in another 25 years, we'll get a new timeline with all the new zeldas in it. And it will be great!

Finally, but, personally I never liked that of the child/adult split story. I think it's more logical that adult Link returns to the past (to be child and than happens MM) and stays there since thats the last thing you see in OoT (Link with Zelda as children)... but... OK.

also at the beginning when the earth and heaven are created, so was the triforce. the 3 goddesses din, nayru, and farore left teh land and intrusted it to hylia. the people of the land are lifted up to teh sky while hylia fights off demise at when link and zelda settle the land, for some reason they start worsheping the three goddesses. probably for two reasons...

Honestly, I don't think that Zelda needed a "Official Timeline" because thats why Zelda is so special right? If Zelda was just like another game it would be the same as any other Nintendo game. The princess is in trouble , and the hero saves her and "If the hero was defeated" then there would be no more Zelda, Zelda 2, ect. because there wouldn't be his desiccants. Even if link and zelda die they will always be reincarnated along with ganon thanks to the curse Demise put on the original link and zelda. So if link from OoT is defeated he would be reincarnated which leads into the defeated hero timeline. Nintendo wasn't lazy. They cleverly managed to fit all the zelda games into one story.

@TSavs98 Ever heard of a "What If?". And the "link defeated timeline" doesn't necessarily mean link was defeated. In OoT when you meet Zelda for the 1st time she asks you for help and there is an option to say no to her request. so the third timeline could be a result of link refusing to help Zelda. Nintendo is the creator of Zelda so im pretty sure they know the timeline better than you.

So if there was a complete branch of the timeline that results from link either dieing or being defeated (aka game over) cant there be numerous branches from each game, since you can get game over (aka death) in every game? it makes no sense to have that branch, i am sorry
