I'm a little jealous. My friend and I discussed doing this exact same thing for months but we never actually did. Good on ya for actually doing it. Laugh tracks worked in the "old days" because the audience didn't laugh equally hard at EVERY SINGLE JOKE.
I found it not only funnier, but it seemed less tacky than with the laugh track. I think sitcoms need to take out laugh tracks or studio audience laughs altogether.
@sboss Actually, no! Surprising as it may seem, a couple of the jokes are sound. Perhaps the expectation of laughter brought me to chuckle, but it was amusing nonetheless.
Also, it is clear that you have the spirit of the Hajib in you, and that is what is fuelling your hatred for this blessed show. You need to embrace Allah, my friend, and the light will come to you.
wow, the comments to this video can basically be summed up like this: "HOW CAN PEOPLE LIKE THINGS THAT I DONT!?!?! OTHER PEOPLE ARE STUPID AND IM SMART" jeez, get some perspective... and btw, tbbt doesn't use a laugh track, they have mostly a real audiance. not that it matters.
@tomtom90 "mostly" is the key word. it sounds like they abuse that audience like a bitch. there's no way they should laugh after every single sentence.
@sboss No, actually, "not that it matters" is the key word. cuz even though you might not like this show, there are millions of viewers who disagree with you, including the audience laughing in the studio. If you dont like it, fair enough, don't watch it. Just because you dont laugh does not mean that it is "not possible" to laugh, or that the people who find it funny are stupid. Just different from you.
@sboss no, not always. they actually often rewrite their jokes as they go along according to the audiences reaction. Hey, im no tbbt-fanboy, just keppin it real, u kno.
@tomtom90 Actually, no new laugh tracks have been recorded since the 70's, they don't have a live audience. If you listen closely, you can hear the laugh tracks repeat themselves
What do you know, this show is absolutely hilarious without the laugh track, but the thumbs down is for letting bits of it through, reminding me that the show has it.
I despise laugh tracks because they are a lazy way out for sitcoms. Instead of actually using context clues, good acting or genuinely entertaining jokes to convey comedy, they just put the sound of other people laughing in which triggers the viewer's social reflex to laugh along, thereby tricking said viewer into thinking that the show is what's making them laugh and is funny. Once you take the laughter out, you see the cast's failure of delivery.
how can you hate such an awesome show?!!! You just hate quality humor. If this show is so "unfunny" as you claim, why does the number of nominations and won awards for best comedy or outstanding achievement in comedy just keep getting bigger?!
all joking aside, popularity means nothing in terms of quality. also, please read the entire description, it's not that long. see the part where i say it's a joke? i'm just bringing to light the fact that this show is not funny when you're not told where to laugh.

Would you guys chill? So the maker doesn't like The Big Bang Theory, so what? They're entitled to an opinion.

The laughter you didn't manage to cut out is too distracting to prove or disprove your theory.

The pause between the actors' lines reminds me of Bioware RPGs.

By your logic, Justin Bieber is the best, most talented singer ever. Is that right?
Also stop greentexting outside of QuadrupleChan, OP, it makes you look like a fag.
PixyDixy2 1 month ago
@PixyDixy2 you use the term "OP" outside of "quadruplechan". isn't that just as bad, if not worse?
sboss 1 month ago
@sboss Not really, OP just means original poster and it doesn't belong to any specific site, it's just an internet term.
