I grew up with all of Tim Burton's films. When I was a baby I would watch the Beetlejuice cartoon, as well as James and the Giant Peach, TNBC, and Batman. I now have all the songs of Nightmare memorized. It's crazy.

it`s seems to me than tim have a little resenment againts disney (when he work there his ideas were rejected) that poor little mouse appears and the music changes from creepy to beauty and the robot boy burn it. it`s just my view point. jeje

You're absolutely right. He is a genius, and many people try to rip him off. One director, though, who I think has an imagination all his own, is Guillermo Del Toro. Not nearly as good as Tim Burton, but I do enjoy his movies.
