I've had the CX for about 2 years. The kit is fuckin amazing, Deffiantely made by DW. The "Floor" Tom everyone is talking about isnt too bad when you get it in tune. They do make an actuall floor tom for this kit, I wanna get that. The snare isnt that bad either but I bought a DW snare for it
You mean the 14" Mounted Tom? Umm.... I have to say it has little dead tone to it, but I like. That is, when you don't have earplugs or earprotection... I think this kit is so great! Only dislike is the snare... It's the thing I now wanna replace...
Yea i heard the snare isnt too hot.. but i guess at that price you get some good %100 maple shells etc. thanks for the help,, your sounding pretty good!
looks, and sounds amazing.. I'm thinking about getting a similair setup, although I want an 24" bass drum instead.. do you think the 14" tom would get too high up with a 24" instead?
get it, i have the cxr with 24"bass drum 8,10,12 tom toms 14,16 floor toms and 6x14 snare on red sparkle THE MOST BEAUTIFUL DRUMSET I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS

i got this kit but in white onyx it does sound good but snares abit dodgy so i bought a pork pie squelar 14 x 8. sounds really good now!!
