But i like having a loud exhaust, it lets your engine breathe more and get a killer sound at the same time. and you could always run mufflers that have more chambers so that it will be louder than a stock muffler but not too loud and you also get a performance gain, most HP not torque

@Italia827 from my experience, the widest, most freely flowing exhausts (best for performance) also sound the best (or the loudest). I always suggest people just run an open downpipe, with a tune of course -- problem solved.

In fact, minis are really safe because the passenger compartment is really rigid and wont bend even facing a big truck. A big truck will bend and crush towards the passengers. Making a big car safe is harder, because of the size and inertia.
