I find this stage strangely easy, compared to both the ones before and after it. Stage 5 has the tight spots with moving walls and masses of enemies, Stage 7 just pelts you with bullets and chunks of debris. But this one seems like a breather, music and all. No real deadly hazards besides those spikes at the halfway point, and once you know about them they're harmless.
Although, the boss' multiple forms are a nasty turn of events. I remember thinking "just die already!" when the third appeared.
The boss is kinda easy to me...
My least favorite boss was the god damn double Moai statue.
Especially the first time I played the stage...

The boss can be a pain sometimes.... I agree though this stage is not to hard at all....
