Viscerally, this video is good. The Republican candidates suck, and their politicization of religion is dangerous. Yet, beyond that there is misdirection on its implications.

The moneychangers point specifically to bankers. Banking institutions are evil when they counterfeit money or extort outrageous interest rates.

Jesus also opposed taxation. No one seems to bring that up.

The teachings of Jesus was a personal moral obligation to help the less fortunate. That runs contrary to the State enforced legal obligation in the form of taxation and social welfare. Jesus would want strong private charities that reflect on the magnanimous spirit of its donors.
