We have a Dylan too, he's only 6 months though. We're using a black hair-tie too, wasn't sure what to do but black looks good. His older sister gets a pink bow.
Haha brilliant video, reminded me of my OES when he was younger (10 now). Plenty of similar occasions where he almost trampled into the TV in excitement, good thing they can break fast. Ahaha.
My sheepie does that with boxes too!
