I think the record is heald by a Supra at 240 or so. I think!! Also the red Viper in the video went 212 in less than three quarters of a mile. He was haveing a break problem so he couldnt make a full run. But if all was well it would have given that Supra a run for its money.

I hate to be a buzzkill but the '06 Lingenfelter Corvette Has the world record for fastest standing mile with street tires. It Did 226 MPH

Hate to buzz kill you but it's the fastest Ford GT. Last time I checked a Corvette and a Ford GT are two diffrent car's. Konw you facts about the event before you speak. You set records for diffrent car's and bike's.

Ummmm no. They have records for different classes, not cars. The GT1000TT has the fastest 0-200-0 time, while the Lingenfelter has the fastest 0-200 both on street tires with a standaerd. SVS's viper has the fastest over all at 231.

likely the GT, more aerodynamic research has gone into it creating downforce through its general design than that of the viper, though brute force is always appreciated, the GT would be more stable at higher speeds. it's mid-engine stability vs. front engine, better balance in the mids. =)
