'AC Cloud' is just a different costume, not a different character altogether. Cloud can use Dissidia's omnislash (I can't read japanese, so I'm not sure if it's v. 5) in either costume.

I'll either main with Tidus or Cloud. Tidus is fast with some good combos, but Cloud deals heavier damage and is just a little bit slower. Which one do I main?

Both of us don't really have "mains" like we do in other fighters. All of the characters feel really nicely balanced and easy to pick up and play as long as you know what your skills do. Having said that, Tidus is very dodgy (many of his attacks begin with a quick dodge) while Cloud has knockback with many of his attacks as well as more diversity (especially HP attack-wise).

I don't quite know the name of it (I can't read Japanese, haha), but I believe you get it in the (upper?) 40's. It's pretty useful when you can't hit your opponent directly with a ranged move. It shoots out the "light cannon" which then shoots your enemy.
