@slipknotboy555 what's a source port dude? i'm totally ignorant about doom 2 sorry, well i played the regular levels and that's it.. i have the collector's edition from torrent it has tnt plutonia doom 1 2 and something called final doom ? and i remember something called "hell on earth" is that a level or mode lol idk but i don't seem to know how to work the wads explained by text :(( an can't find any video tutorial, and also i heard usb mouse doesn't work with that doom mouse thing :(((

@McLover20121221 I'd advise you to google something called "gzdoom" You definitely can't play a lot of modern wads with the old original games, and source ports tend to just make things easier in general, so yeah

@McLover20121221 if you're using the dos version,i dont know how,but if you're not,to use wads you drag the wad(s) onto your Doom2exe/ZDoomexe/GZDoomexe for them to work,for the mouse i don't know

well, this was actually recorded back on my Vista computer. Haha, I think this one does a little better. I'm not sure what my old comps specs were. It did have nvidia graphics in it though

Don't get me wrong, I love Doom 2 but the graphics, art direction and level design philosophy that worked in Doom 1 for a utilitarian Mars base, did not lend themselves at all when applied to an Earth setting, and should have been re-thought. I mean, in Doom 2, city streets look like corridors surrounded by stacks of boxed (supposed to be buildings).

This, on the other hand... wow! I didn't realise the Doom engine was capable of this!
