The salesman in this shot was a guest a few times on Bewitched. You said it Pontiac the best. I should have kept my 1976 Pontiac Grand LeMan's... Dashboard the best looking of any car. I saved my dad paid for it and I paid him 25 dollars a week. I looked at all the GM A bodies, last stop was a Pontiac dealer, it was on the showroom. Pontiac in the 60s and 70s made the best looking GM brand. 69 may have been there best year ever. Thanks Pontiac, and we may see Pontiac again someday.

My dad has a 1968 GTO, origional 400, rebuilt, only thing wrong with it is that the paint rubs off on your hand, and he never drives it, he hasn't driven it in years, let the license expire and wont pay 10 bucks to get it renewed, but still pays insurance on it.

Actually (with respect) the GTO came out in 1963 , not alot of people know that, and in 62 they had "drivers" that PMD put together to see how people liked them. Again with respect the 442 was not out before the GTO. Sorry about the marriage, women have "ways" of doing things that we regret. I know PMD was heavily involved with John DeLorean and there was a lot of muscle happening there. Grand Prix and Bonneville had the big engines. Was it not Johns idea to drop them into midsized cars? I built my 72 GTO from the ground up, anyone how has done this before knows that as soon as you replace one thing it makes it can be easy to replace another , like "I'm replacing the ball joints I should replace the springs while its apart, and if I do that I should do the upper control arm bushings, and why not clean and paint it all". Its upsetting that you lost your car, they are so rare its hard to loose even one. Anything saved off the car?
