I'm not sure what the hell is happening there but the animation where the character sticks their hand out and the sword just randomly spins looks really, really awful.

Not sure if it's an engine limitation but why can't modders make crisp, solid animations instead of ones that look like everyone has a broken wrist, swinging their weapon lazily without force? You're supposed to be improving upon vanilla, not taking notes from it.

my only problem with anime is the HUGE GIANT WEAPONS. seriously I admire the skill and finness used with a standard sized sword rather than a 400lb. piece of metal swung with all the strength.

I think the way of holding the sword... In Type 1 The character holds the sword/Hammer/Battle Axe on His/Her Shoulder and In type 2 the char holds the Sword etc. like in the vid. And the attacks are maybe differerent too. I dunno that...

If possible, mix in noise relating to the swinging of the weapon. It's important in art not to put one sense in competition with another. In this case, to make my ears question why she's spinning her flaming shovelblade yet it makes no appropriate metal vibration woosh.

Have to say dmc1/dmc3 are some of my favourite games so I like that you did this.
