  • you have an amzin energy. I usually forward my videos to the recipe but you i had to see you through. You are so cute and funny and your family is beautiful.. Thank you for your awesome video.

  • Loved watching your video! It looks simple enough..and looks yummy too! Plus, its RAW!!

Do you know how many calories per slice? Were you using a Vitamix? or some other kind of blender?

  • That is really cool!! I will have to give this a try!! :) Thank you for sharing!! Your family is so cute!! I love how your son pulled up a chair, LOL!!! Too cute!!! :)

  • Ur family is so cute!

  • wow, i have to get myself a good food proccessor !!

  • can you post all the ingridients please? looks yummy.....next time use a spatula it is faster

  • That looks AMAZING. And you made it look so easy. :)

  • Nearly all the ingredients have a very high fat content, how many grams of fat per serving? Also, coconut oil is extremely bad for those with cholesterol problems, any substitute?

  • @ubahnlinie This something to have every once and a while not every day. Coconut oil is NOT bad for cholesterol. Your probably thinking of hydrogenated coconut oil but this is all natural unprocessed coconut oil which helps to lower cholesterol. If your worried about fat intake, you can just have a yummy bowl of berries, great in antioxidants. Thanks for watching and have an awesome day :)

  • Wow! why didn't I see these video's b4? raw brownies;raw cheese cake;raw pizza;raw lasagna.... My only concern is that i'm already fat.Should I still make these? I guess it is all natural so y would it hurt (unless I ate the whole thing ;p)Thank you so much for making real food!!!

  • I made this, was nice. the cheese consistancy did not look like yours though. I used coconut milk instead of oil. maybe that was the problem.

    Thanks for sharing your video

  • Hey guys! Just finished making this (it's in the freezer). My only slight concern is that my mixture was very grainy! It was not smooth like yours. I was trying to avoid over processing it. Approximately how long does it take you to blend until it's the perfect constancy? Otherwise, it's very tasty (a lot sweeter than I thought it'd be). Can't wait to eat it for breakfast!

  • @ValtronW It sounds like the nuts need to be soaked for a few hours longer.

  • @RawFoodMuscle I soaked them overnight. So I'll assume I just didn't process them long enough. Thanks again!

  • You have a great "on screen" energy! Got to try this today, it looks de-lish. Thanks for sharing. I also love the video response so will of course have to try the chocolate one too! :))

  • Why the honey? any possible vegan replacements?

  • @mightyjake182 It's not our recipe but you can try to use some coconut syrup or maybe some yukon syrup. Thanks for watching :)

  • @RawFoodMuscle thanks so much! and no problem keep up the good work :D

  • That is amazing. It looked just like real cheesecake. Gotta try this!

  • Thank you guys! Peace and blessings and the baby is simply beautiful

  • I am loving all of your recipes....I have been raw almost 30 days now and was starting to get tired of salads and chopped veggies.....I immediately became a subscriber to your channel. The ranch dipping sauce has saved me and now I am eating chopped veggies all day long and I am going to try this recipe this weekend as a special treat:) I even ordered a dehydrator from Amazon!!!

  • OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's all I can say (ok, I'll say a little bit more..haha) First of all, I watch your channel a lot and love it. Where do you purchase your nuts? Where can I find the cheesecake pan you used and you guys are so much fun I love your energy! Thanks for sharing.

  • @313HealthyMe We buy most of our nuts from bulkfoods on line but we also get our almonds from greensmoothiegirl's group buy once a year. As far as the pan you can find it at amazon. It's a 9 inch springform pan. Thank you so much for watching :)

  • @RawFoodMuscle Oh, how can I find greensmoothiegirl's group? Also, is that bulkfoods online reasonable for macadamia nuts as well.

  • @313HealthyMe Go to greensmoothiegirl (com) but she only does the group buy once a year which I think starts in the end of October. I'm not sure about the macadamia nuts cause we never buy them

  • @RawFoodMuscle ahhh, ok Thanks. I actually went to her site but really didn't know what to look for. Now I have "a clue" (lol)

  • Thanks for the video - it was all good until sticking the spoon in her mouth, then in the whole cake. And the same thing with the fingers dipped in the batter - ewww!

  • @jjscript As long as it's for the family and no-one else, it doesn't matter that much, honestly.

  • wow, this looks so yummy!!! must do it asap ;) thanks for the recipe!

  • mmmhh cheesecake.i love it

    BB

  • I could not stop drooling when i saw your raw cheesecake!! i'v been thinking about it all day..looks like i'd be makin me cheesecake for breakfast :) u guys rock!

  • What's it gonna take to get one of these sent to my house? lol =]

  • Oh MAN!!! That looks Amazing!!

    Good job!!!

  • Looks good, but there's about 400+ grams of fat in that cake, which is about 4 times greater than your commercially prepared (cooked) cheesecake. A slice of that would already exceed your daily requirement for fat by about 20 grams....so please consume sparingly

  • @mikek241 Yes I agree eat sparingly. This cake is so rich you will only be able to eat a very small piece. And remember this is an enzyme-rich cake not a cooked cake that has 2 cups of processed sugar, heavy whipped cream, cream cheese, and a stick of butter. These ingredients have no health benefits like coconut oil and honey do. Thanks so much for your comment.... Mrs RFM

  • @RawFoodMuscle Yeah, I was just putting those two out for comparison. The method of preparation for this cake is undoubtedly more healthful, but raw fooders shouldn't forget that fat is fat. Its over-consumption is vastly correlated with all sorts of cardiac and circulatory issues. The majority of raw fooders don't realize that up to 70% of their calories can come from fat with consumption of such gourmet dishes.

  • @mikek241 I think it's important to understand that being a raw foodist is a journey, yes in the beginning may be a majority gourmet with lots of nuts and seeds but at some point your body will want to move into much more simpler foods with minimal fats. So to say a majority of raw foodist eat like this is a bit extreme, but I love that you bring this up so more people can understand the phases is raw foods. Thank you and take care.

  • @mikek241 You have to realize that there are healthy fats and unhealthy fats Healthy fats would be EVOO, flax seed oil, and fats from plant sources such as nuts, seeds, avocados, and coconuts .Unhealthy fats would be margarine, shortening, hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils, etc.

  • @mikek241 (cont) Every meal that you consume should contain healthy fats, even if only in small portions. Failure to include these fats in a meal will result in many of the nutrients consumed during the meal not being absorbed by the body. That's because many nutrients are fat-soluble nutrients. Beta carotene, Vitamin D, and Vitamin E are three nutrients that need fat in order to be absorbed and used by body, but there are many other nutrients that also need fats for metabolism.

  • @mikek241(cont) For decades the American Heart Association insisted that heart patients should avoid nearly all dietary fat. This was during the low-fat craze of the 1980's and 1990's, when people were running scared from all dietary sources of fat and instead consuming massive quantities of sugar and refined carbohydrates. causing extreme nutritional deficiencies and actually reducing the life span of heart patients rather than helping them.

  • @MamaAgainstTheGrain Agreed, but consuming massive amounts of healthy fat does not in any way make it healthy. Too much animal fat is just as bad as too much coconut or flax oil. There is only a small portion of fat that your body needs to assimilate the nutrients you were talking about (around 10%). I simply wanted to point out that some raw fooders don't realize that just eating raw does not guarantee better health when fat becomes the predominate source of calories (even the "healthy" kind)

  • @mikek241 I wouldnt really consider this dish MASSIVE amounts of healthy fat esp if its an occasional treat. And I'm pretty sure raw fooders know not to eat something like this EVERYDAY. But even if they were to eat...lets say...1 slice a day during 1 week.,I really wouldnt see any harm. Im pretty sure raw fooders, who's main reason for going into raw food eating is because of the health benefits, would have enough common sense to not OVERINDULGE in healthy fats....

  • @mikek241

Fat's good for you man. What do you think the coconut oil is? It's pretty much completely fat. It's also great for you.

Commercial cakes are bad because they have refined sugar, trans fat, and anything else they feel they can add they don't need to inform you on.

Aside from a little fuctose consumption, this dish seems fine and healthy to me.

  • @UIevo Fats are good for you in moderation otherwise disease ensues. Like I said, one slice of this cake exceeds your daily requirement for fat by about 20 grams. No doubt the commercial cakes have an abundance of unwanted additives and chemicals, I was only using it as an example to compare the total fat content which like I said is about 4 times greater in this cake. Point was -- just because it's raw does not mean it's good for you (but obviously I realize you wouldn't eat this everyday).

  • @mikek241 I'm inclined to disagree. I believe fats are essential to healthy living, and are not a delicacy to be consumed in "moderation".

  • @UIevo It isn't about agreeing or disagreeing. Look into the literature and see for yourself. If you're still inclined to disagree, by all means, consume cheesecake for all your meals

  • @mikek241 Quite the contrary mike. I believe you're wrong because I have looked at the appropriate literature.

  • ohhhh YAYAYAYAAAAAAAY!!!!! i was looking for a raw cheesecake recipe but couldnt find one! YAY YOU & YAY ME for subscribing to you! THANK YOOOOOOOOOU!!!! I looove this channel so muccccchhhhh!!!!! And I may need to borrow your son in the future....he is just too PRECIOUS! <3 TY!

  • Ok, I see where I went wrong on the recipe I tried, I only used 2 cups cashews, maybe thats why it was too lemony. Ok, you convinced me to try again!!! Oh and thanks for allowing the cutie to be in the video, so adorable!!!

  • so do you have to stick in in the freezer, or fridge will work too?

  • @mikek241 I dont think it will work by putting it in the frig.

  • wow that looks so DELICIOUS!!!

  • This is the best channel on YouTube.

  • mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

  • This looks good! I'm wondering if you could use coconut oil instead of the olive oil for the bottom... great recipe, thanks so much for sharing!!

  • @MommyReporter Not sure if that would work cause the coconut oil will get hard once it gets cold, which will make it stick.

  • @RawFoodMuscle Oh ok, thanks for letting me know...

  • @MommyReporter It will work if you have a nonstick pan.

  • LOL@ favorite/only. Love it! WOW, I am so going to try this one day! YOU ROCK!

  • By the way, I recommend getting the book "Sweet Gratitude: A New World of Raw Desserts". It's filled with awesome recipes like this! The cakes in it are divine.

  • I love raw cheesecake! I use the recipe from café gratitude which is very similar to this (so that's probably where it originated from). I prefer pecans for the crust as well.

You should try adding a few tablespoons of sunflower lecithin to the cheese part. Makes it much creamier and also holds up better in room temperature.

  • *drooling* this looks so GOOD! I'm excited to try this, by the way I like your revision of the recipe, that's why I never tried the others.

  • ;-)

  • Damn that looks good!...lol.....

  • I am going to make this, it looked awesome! Thanks for sharing!

  • LOL.... Great vid! Both of you guys are so uplifting and motivating.

  • I have to try this out. It looks so delicious. I have a big sweet tooth.... lol
