@leothewhiteranger I'm not sure, I may be over stepping my boundaries here (and forgive me if I am) but the reason why they never attacked with the zords when monster was small was because one of the rules Zordon gave them was that they weren't allowed to escalate a fight on their own.  If they just stomped on the beast with the Megazord they'd be no better than the monsters they fought.
