Just an observation from the outside looking in, I know Americans at the moment are very critical of Obama I think mainly because they expected some kind of magical upheaval.

He advertised hope, hope by its very definition contains a time value. I personally feel that the states is heading the right direction and it'd be a shame if people elected someone else in 2012, because his second term will be the period where most of his work will come into fruition.
