  • @choaspunx69 Ever heard Chelsea Grin or Avenged Sevenfold or bullet for my valentine? When compared to any of those bands, he sounds as good as seth putnam or greenway or chuck schuldiner.

  • @tshred666

oh man ... i know it better now ... i saw em live in germany and they shredded the house down! :D

and the guitar player sounded really good ... i think on this video its only the sound not the singer :D

  • @choaspunx69 Yeah, and I shouldn't have called Putnam a good vocalist. I guess I just put him in there because I find anal cunt's music hilarious.

  • @asturel13 I dont wanna be that dickhead thats all ike "oh this shit is gay!!"..but i honestly think this is a disgrace...like..a part of me died inside...no wonder prep faggots are always mocking us...this IS the stereo type bullshit people think metal or "grindcore" really is...

  • fack a bass

  • cuz there grindcore its thrash metal with punk!!! crust punk!!! ^_^ got to love grind

  • Bass player?

  • Magrudergrind !!!!!!!FUK!!!!!

  • for the guy who said that it is hard or in any way technical to play any intrument in this band i feel that you indeed have no idea what talent is :)

  • @DemiseJosh

of course it's not as technical as some metal bands out there, but in my opinion you can't even compare that.

Grindcore, Powerviolence, whatever is not metal and people who like it (like me) don't even give a damn how difficult it is to play, it's not about that. i guess what zfuric meant to say is they play really tight, you can hear they are not sloppy, have precise breaks etc. what they are doing they are doing well. at least i think so.

  • @stefan5445 I agree man, Nile (for example) are very technical but have never wrote a single decent song. That is the difference between metal and grindcore imo, Metal is mostly all style and no substance where wearing black clothes and having long hair takes priority over writing decent music. I listen to modern day death metal bands and it all just sounds so contrived with technicality for technicality's sake, Grindcore bands just play from the heart... simple, catchy and aggressive music.

  • @asturel13 Grindcore is more metal than it is punk. Just saying. And looking metal? What is wrong with you, i have never thought you've ever had to look metal. Hell i look like i should be wearing some preppy kid shit. . . i dont, but still. I have a regular hair style, wear jeans with a shirt(i do have metal t-shirts though). What you described is what metal is all about, being aggressive and playing from the heart, it can be simple or very complicated. . . you just described metal.

  • @thisisformusiconly do you represent the majority of metal heads or the very small minority though?? Lets face it man, I love old school death metal, have done since 1990, but nowadays it has become debased into a prosaic sub-culture, typified by mindless conformity and a collective herd mentality. Also, when did I ever say grind was more metal than punk?? I said MagruderGrind were leaning more towards the punk side of Grind.

  • @asturel13 Yeah dude, Magrudergind, is like Napalm Death grind(but with better blasting). Death Metal doesnt have that conformity problem, IMO that would have to be Thrash metal(its my favorite but its a sad truth). Most of the people, basically "dress" like metalheads(i have always thought to be a metalhead you just need to love the music) and "act" like metalheads. Old school death metal is the best, but give the newer bands a chance.

  • fucking great!! Kicks ass!

  • the drummer does some clean blast beats!.fucking sick

  • Stop bullshits about "it's grind ! No it's PW !"

Go to see them live because it's a great band with enormous energy !

And those who don't understand what they're doing, just try to see that it's very technical to play so fast and so accurate.

Hope to see them again !

  • Where's the long hair?! C'mon guys!

  • @WonderfulPostMusic Long hair? Get the fuck out with that hippy shit, this isn't the 80's.

  • aguante el magrudergrind!

  • 2:54 body-surf fail :D

    GRIND!!!

  • they're good ,but they abosultely need a bassplayer when they play live.

They would be much more powerful

  • since everyone wants to know the songs they are as follows.

    Closed Off

    Kept Laughing

    I'm fucking done

    Zero Substance

Mr. Arnold Palmer,a Nice meal for jeffery dahmer

all the songs are from rehashed except for the last one

  • what the hell was that was that music or was he dying thats not even worth being called music

  • @denjen010 its not called music...

  • @denjen010

Fuck off back to Justin Bieber or BMTH then.

  • whats the second song called?

  • @got1inorange Keeps Laughing from Rehashed

  • These guys sound a little bit too much like Napalm Death for my liking. Im pretty sure one of the riffs in the first song is a direct ripoff of a Napalm riff as well. Could be a lot worse though, at least theyve got good energy.

  • @PedeyHooferReturns so lmao

  • @bobthelawy3r so theyre not being fucking original and i have a fucking problem with that. I'll just listen to Napalm Death, its the same goddamn thing.

  • @PedeyHooferReturns true i like magrudergrind cus they do more highs but you are right about the copying thing but if u look up any deathcore band youlll see they all sound almost exactly same

  • @PedeyHooferReturns Piss off.

  • Comment removed

  • GRINDVIOLENCE.

  • mhm, that's thrash, b!tches!

  • 3:14 fucking awesome

  • Jesus Christ this is fucking terrible no vocal or instrumental talent whatsoever

  • @antipatriotmissile Shannon from Black Dahlia Murder loves magrudergrind. Would you like Magrudergrind now that you know that? :)

  • @xbeerxpressurex no magrudergrind sucks 24 inch cocks

  • @antipatriotmissile Whatever, go listen to your average bullshit popular bands. Magrudergrind fucking owns your asshole.

  • @xbeerxpressurex i listen to the heaviest brutal awesome epic shit ever. you listen to this because your a queen who sucks dick and talks with a lisp

  • @antipatriotmissile LOL! you're funny x)

  • @xbeerxpressurex and your an assworshipping rim jobber

  • @antipatriotmissile damn , what's wrong with you? were you raped or something?

  • @antipatriotmissile Who said you ever needed talent to play music, besides, this is soo much better than most bands anyway.

  • @ultimatedude if you don't have talent your music is going to suck thats just a fact and this band is horrible they're worse than justin bieber

  • @antipatriotmissile You dont have to be talented at maths to do maths.

    Practice > Talent

  • @ultimatedude yeah you can do it but you suck just like they can play but they suck at it

  • @antipatriotmissile Im pretty sure they can play melodic stuff if they wanted to, but thats not the point, this genre is not called powerviolence for nothing. Its not that they suck at it, its supposed to sound like that.

  • @ultimatedude im pretty sure you sucked a black female body builders lubed up strap on you bitch

  • @antipatriotmissile Even if this was true, how is it relevant?

  • @antipatriotmissile i think i know waths the problem here, we have a severe case of metalhead in the house XD, we`ll never be able to cure this terrible virus of closemindedness.

(not saying all the metal heads are assholes, but thats only the name of the virus)

  • @antipatriotmissile Alright, you say music that doesn't take talent sucks yet you listen to punk... This takes A LOT more talent than punk. I'm not knocking punk either, I love it, but as someone who plays guitar, I can tell you that the stuff that the guitarist plays takes some fucking talent. I'll let the drums and the singer speak for themselves. Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean that it doesn't take talent.

  • @crassisdead Well, I dont hate it but it certainly doesn't take talent to play guitar or drums like this. The guitarparts are actually pretty easy to do

  • @asphixa Actually, yes it does. I play stuff like this and it's more than just playing this stuff really fast. Listen to a song by the Ramones and then listen to this.

  • @crassisdead well, I don't want to offend you.. I don't know your band, but it takes talent to create something that hasn't been done before, something totally new. It takes talent to play fast? no because if you practice really hard you'll get fast somehow. And lets see things from my perspective, I play death metal for a long while now. I also like lots of genres.. Also this type of genre. But it's simple music, there is nothing wrong with that.

  • @asphixa Haha no, I'm saying for somebody who doesn't know how to play any instruments, this is hard as fuck to play. Anybody can learn to play any slow ass Ramones song in ten minutes.

  • @crassisdead well duh, for someone who doesn't know how to play an instrument is every song hard to play...

  • Comment removed

  • @crassisdead maybe if you said something like: The energy they create takes talent, I would agree =)

  • @asphixa I meant to say that it's more than just strumming really fast and playing chords and hitting the drums as fast as possible. Sure, if you compare this to stuff like Origin or Decrepit Birth, it seems really simple, but nonetheless, it still takes some level of talent. antipatriotmissle obviously knows nothing about talent or playing music because he's nothing more than an elitist prick who comes up with the most retarded and illogical responses.

  • @crassisdead Ok, I think we can agree on this lvl =)

  • Comment removed

  • @asphixa

But where is talent derived from? Practicing. When you practice a technique long and hard, you gain a skill. When a certain amount of skills are obtained, you can don the adjective, talented.

  • @gamefreak113456 you obviously have no clue what talent really is. Ever heard of a 10 year covering songs of satriani beter than me in a shorter amount of time? That's what I call real talent my friend. Someone with talent doesn't need to practice as much as someone without, that's it. But there are talents you can't gain with practice. Such as the ability the invent new things without a pre written structure and coloring within those lines. But woteva you think your thing, I have my idea's =)

  • @asphixa

Not trying to be rude, but I just don't think you are correct at all. Do you think child prodigies just decided to excel at whatever their trade is? They work at it for hours every single day(While we are on this subject, I hate them = /). Anyone who has ever been considered truly talented has become so by practicing long and hard. There are exceptions in some areas, but they are few and far in-between. And creativity can be that exception, but in most cases creativity is spawned by ..

  • @gamefreak113456 nah man it's cool. I do believe child prodigies excel faster than normal kids and there for get more intrested. You have to admit you've once tried something in your life which failed miserably and there for you gave up. The same counts for things you excelled in and because you were good at it you did it more and became maybe better than others. Because you develop your talent you get better at it.

  • @asphixa

(continued)... creativity is spawned by becoming familiar with the works of others. It takes an understanding of what already exists, and taking things in a new direction.

  • @gamefreak113456 about creativity. I agree on the fact that practice improves creativity but there is a difference between something very unique and a good idea. Maybe it's random, who knows... But there is a clear difference.

  • @asphixa

Oddly enough, I didn't expect to have this conversation when I entered a Magrudergrind video, lol. Anyways, I hope your band does well dude.

  • @gamefreak113456 haha me neither tbh and thx I hope so too =)

  • @asphixa even your own 'idea's' about plural in english , haha

  • @jfeuiebf yes very funny.. so you're from the UK. I'm capable of expressing myself in several languages, how about you?

  • @asphixa I'm not brittish, I live in the UK , have some knowledge of 'several languages'

  • @jfeuiebf ok, but you're in touch with the language in your everyday life, unlike me..

  • @asphixa ah sorry once again , initially I thought you'e an american, sorry misunderstanding I guess

  • @jfeuiebf sorry hehe I didn't mean to be mean , just find it very funny how natives meake this error all the time

  • @gamefreak113456 I don't know , talent is more inate ability to gain skills, practice is important as well as determination, talent can be discovered , not obtained

  • @crassisdead just take a listen to this. I personally think this is quite original.

  • @crassisdead oops,here: watch?v=9lh9-cj_1ys&feature=related

  • @ultimatedude This is not power violence though. It's grind.... duh

  • @19nova76 Well, Magrudergrind started out as a powerviolence band, eventually became grind, but still have powerviolence influences. And since this is one of the only grind bands i actually like, ill call it PV just to make things easier

  • @19nova76 magrudergrind is move pv then grind.

  • @19nova76 Plus there newest cd they rip off spazz. THE RAP SONG

  • @19nova76

Before they mostly(emphasis on mostly) played powerviolence or some form of extreme hardcore. While grind is a form of extreme hardcore, it has big metal influences, which magrudergrind lacked until more recent releases. But really, it doesn't matter since the band has the same mentality anyway.

  • Sick. Like it

  • One thing Ive learned liking bands ranging from this to Iron Maiden, Cannibal Corpse to Megadeth, Slayer to Nile, and Decrepit Birth to Deftones you really just like what u like fuck everyone else. By the way I think this if this band has anything from metal it comes from thrash, tracks like Im Fucking Done prove that.

  • whats the name of the first song they play in this video?

  • @Websters52 the first songs are from rehashed. Closed off, Keep laughing and i'm fucking done.

  • whats the name of the first song they play in this video?

  • FUCK SHIT UP

to me its grind punk crust....

  • Peklooooo!!!!

  • I was pretty much the same as rickysucksabunch. I was and still am a fan of nile, cryptopsy, necrophagist, atheist and the most tech-y shit you can think of. Then I joined a noisecore band and I've been getting even more into grindcore, but also into noise like deche-charge and finger death party. At my shitty noise band's first (and so far only) concert, I wore my nile shirt. We played 13 minutes of noise and I must've looked like the worst derek roddy impersonator ever.

  • @jlhart7 ok I'm not saying that I'm better than you (I think I'm the worst derrek roddy impersonator) but I looked up Deche-Charge and Finger Death Party up on youtube and they had to be by far the worst things I have ever heard. No insult on you as a person (you do like nile, cryptopsy, and necrophagist) but those bands are just beyond terrible

  • @IIITreyDuPontIII

i don't think they're terrible, but just they are noise.

which is something completely different to metal bands like those above mentioned by you. i think both kind of bands are great, it's just music so people don't get upset about that! listen and bang your head!

    Pulce/Italy

  • @pulce7 they aren't really metal, and i don't think they intend to be. it's just really fast, dissonant, down-tuned punk (aka powerviolence, thrashcore, fastcore) that they aim for.

  • @warwick487 uh ok, sorry i didn't mean "metal" in a kind of manowar-lookalike-manner. (continues)

  • @warwick487 's just that the bands mentioned by jilhart7 are without any doubt metal related bands playing as fast as possible...thus they cannot be asssociated to punk hardcore. i think there are 2 branches for grindcore: the more punk related stuff (i.e. early napalm death and so on) and the metal aspect of it (i.e. terrorizer). powerviolence, fastcore and so on has really little to do with metal...and we can put in the cauldron bands like xbrainiax, spazz, charles bronson...

  • or stagedive! ^^

  • does anyone know the name of the first song?

  • The first song is Closed Off from their Rehashed LP.

  • do they not have a bassist?

  • many powerviolence bands haven't got bassist . Would slow them down I guess

  • unless they played with a pick
