so negative, ... what if this will make you think of how to make one of these on u know a larger scale, with maybe more efficiency and generation, possible powered by oh u know a windmill.... or a creek with constant flow. hook that to a battery or some crap and u have usefull free energy... not to mention wind seems to not stop very often
Good!, I will try to attach this to my bicycle wheel in order to power up at least my AAA batteries for the remote control.
Do you know what factor affect the variables of the energy (i.e. current or voltage)?, I mean if the diameter/length of the wire, size of magnets or something else can provide different currents and voltages. This is a good opportunity for a DoE. I'll try this with my little niece so she will learn something.
I wonder how much power could one human put out if something similar but bigger would be fitted on a bicycle wheel, a night lamp with LED's ? Under a table so when you lear you steadly cycle the mechanism with your legs and power the lamp so that you can learn in dark. And maybe add some more bits to store the power so that you could cycle during daytime for few mins and have the power later.. hmm this got me thinking.

@Haitahx Producing a couple of hundred watts is good going for fit people.

@wolfekeeper What kind of LED takes couple hundred watts to make it somewhat bright enough to read in dark?
