The beauty of the spear when ur using magic is that if you kill someone while using it, they ALWAYS drop at least 1 or 2 magic orbs, may not seem like much but if you can cronus rage a lot of enemies you can end up having a lot of magic

@DivineSniper54 Though it limits other orb drops. For foes that give a higher yield (even of MP) by default, you get a lesser drop. If you're in it for that perk, one has to study up.

Dragonpwner and catkiller are two different players. Neither of which is particularly invested in GoW. Either of which would sooner accept an online challenge in a shooter I supsect. Considreing that I'm using General Kratos (GK) and the context of the video is a GK:TM:MAX with Spear of Destiny (SoD) focus for the SoD FAQ.

The red orb count seen is not possible without the case being one of the following:

-Heavy exploiting *NP*

-Tedious kill whoring *NP*

-Hax (again)

-BP

and i wanted to hack it coz titan mode is juz way tooo hard with a hit kill from most of the boss u know.but so far i did it until the medusa.man she has lots health.i keep bashing her for over 1/2 hour and the minigame trigger still haven't came up!well,i will get it over with some how.

If you want 'hacks', DP can advise on that matter. He's started doing testing with cheats for exploring glitches and oddities. I keep playlists for skilled play/tactics and glitches concerning the GoW series. They would take up my 'Favorites' too fast otherwise.

You can beat Titan if you accept my aid and stick to it. We have MANY tricks at our disposal for bringing the difficulty of fights down (concerning skill requirement).

I've played since GoW1 came out. Very little deviation.

After Kratos puts the weapon in the ground, it reverts to the BoO and stays as such. The rest of the fight wasn't worth showing so I left it on the note that Zeus was crushed/killed *though he wasn't really...obviously enough*

Can I ask, why did you choose General Kratos over any of the other costumes?

It's particularly weak in all the right areas. It's poor stats combine with Titan's to create the percentiles asI know them. This taking the focus more off former heavy hitters while focusing on instant kills, shattering, grabs, unique specials, etc. Collisions grow STRONGER as Armor is reduced. Since GK is tied for weakest Armor, it's a good choice for that sort of focus. Being also physically weak further draws attention away from 'standard play' as I see it. An alternative challenge run

Can I ask, i'm stuck on the army's before you fight clotho in GoW2. You got any ideas? I can take down a boss no problem, but the tons of enemies are too damn hard.

It's a constraint that provides one plus.. that being the increaded collision damage. As stated above, the weakened basid strikes puts an emphasis on changing up the standard playstyle if one is to THRIVE in the conditions. To resist is to suffer.

(Endurance Run) I'd prefer we cover this via PMs. Those work better for this sort of question.

Bow Tricks - The draw animation is an invincibility frame for TB/EH. Press L2 (whip it out) and attacks will phase through.. basically.

It is unknown how the story of Athena is told in the GoW universe. (they have their own take on Greek Mythology) If you are asking why he didn't try to devour the mother of Kratos..it would be because Zeus is an idiot.

I'd ask why he didn't just give Kratos what he wanted so he could never be a threat once the situations in CoO AND GoW1 were addressed. He had earned his reward of relief from his nightmares at the very least. Making him a god was just stupid..

How did you switch to the spear? Every time i fight the guy, i can only use either the blades or the sword, whatever Zeus doesn't have.

At that point in the battle I've never had trouble switching over. If you are referring to Normal Play, you cannot use anything but what they give you. Like with the Bonus Play Colossus (insides)..if you start this battle with the sub-weapon you want..it will be your tool for killing Zeus. This is afterall a costume run.

It takes a little getting used to.  PS can't be abused at just any timed. I am working on a second video run showing how this weapon works in a GK:TM:NUR rather then a GK:TM:MAX run as seen here. Better tricks have turned up here and there..my handling improves/refines as I better old tactics and learn of new ones..be it by myself or through others

It would slow the fight down if I did. PS is far stronger then any attack SoD has in these conditions. All the moves are reduced by half in power according to GK:TM settings. PS is unaffected which makes it the strongest. It also causes knockbacks. A single CR orb would have pulled off a single PS in damage but I'd put them to better use against his following stage.

Also, I had known since before I ever implemented the song that it would be too hard/metal for most. I had hoped to find a suitable replacement but failed to until after the vid was uploaded. "For Whom the Bell Tolls" is easier on the ears though it doesn't apply by lyrics quite aswell and it is a bit too calm for the credits I went for this time.

Did you not see me using the Bow Trick to negate damage for his double pound? I'd parry the first punch of his 3-hit combo so I could use Argo's Revenge on him. I didn't need to switch to the Blades for anything but his lightning shield. It goes smoother when you have a pattern down. The magic techniques fail without the follow *compliment* of Piercing Shards.  To appreciate one without the other is nonsense in this fight for almost all stages.

LOL That was an accident due to him attacking through my Cronos Rage orb. Then he managed to swing at me near the end which made using Typhon's Bane on his final "O" form a fun send off for me.

You speak of the Zeus fight again I presume. By order of conversation I had mistaken it for the Cyclops/Beast Lords situation. During the stages where he is without a weapon I can do whatever I like. Whenver he has the BoO, I can't use the menu screen or it will change my weapon to the BoO. This is the only glich I recall pertaining to this matter I know of.

It helps to have one of the veterans who can make vids do so on your behalf.  It is well and good to have written tactics, but even if carefully explained..words alone can sometimes be lost on the reader.

Glitch? I only recall that if you pause during the phases where you would normally have the Blades, it switches you to the BoO. If such a glitch exists on my game I've not run across one which stops me from switching back to my prefered weapon.

In a word yes. I even do so. Trouble is that it becomes harder as you close the distance between yourself and Zeus. Three times in a row is pretty much the max per cycle. In his sword stage it isn't worth going for a second PS shot in a row as it will just be blocked, leave you open or even be dodged. It is rare that he gets hit again.
