The lid of the StorBoard closes on top of the containers holding the screws. The screws and nuts do bounce around but never leave there respective containers. And there is virtually no noise from the contents of the Board that is audible inside the cab even with the windows down. This product is engineered extremely well and is a great solution for contractors. I do want to mention the containers are not included...sorry
