i dont see why people hate gohan for settling down after the battle with cell. Even goku settled down for 4 years(without training) after his marriage because he had to look after his family. Since goku is dead, gohan has to look after his widowed mother and his little baby brother(like tien said- he is the man of the house now). Plus their was no point in him training because earth was at peace.

I still think Future Gohan is the best. He whooped ass with one arm, he whooped ass by himself, he whooped ass even though he knew he would get his ass whooped.
Future Gohan is one of the most badass characters in the anime.
Mystic Gohan: Only impressive until he had gotten absorbed. Probably would have looked better with the Z-Sword still intact.
Future Gohan: The pain and suffering that he had gone through transformed him not only into a Super Saiyan, but a hardened warrior. He knew that his demise was inevitable, but always met the Androids head on, even without an arm or Trunks' aid. The only version of Gohan that deserves nothing but respect.
Kid Gohan: Had his moments, but was useless most of the time.
Teen Gohan: Only impressive after becoming a Super Saiyan 2, but his actions ultimately resulted in the second death of Goku.
Adult Gohan: Somewhat funny as the great Saiyaman, somewhat of a father-figure to Goten, which is nice. Even after his epic transformation at the World Tournament, he got raped by Spopovich and Yamu. Kinda nice seeing that he found his love in the Buu Saga.
Teen Gohan SSJ2 is the best character in the series...So cold! And as a True saiyan he played with his target, knowing that his own power was far greater than that of Cell. Never loosing focus, perfect poker-face all the time. Loved how he acted as SSJ2 in the cell saga.
@ssg4predater Where the Good Buu is mostly in control of Fat Buu and can only use his full power when angry and Evil Buu is mostly in control of Super Buu and can use his full power whenever he wants.
We saw SS3 Goku beat up the Fat Buu when they fought in the city so that's why he's stronger than Mystic Gohan.
@ImmaGTBaby actually, Akira Toriyama said that Ultimate Gohan was the strongest un-fused character in DBZ.
and Goku had to step in because Gohan lost his focus during the fight with Super Buu. Goku only did better than Gohan because he's much smarter and a more experienced fighter

I'm embarrassed that I know, but I believe it was after Frieza thought he killed Goku, then Gohan left Bulma and the ship to fight Frieza. So Frieza was already in his final form. This song plays sometime then, I believe.
Everyone I've talked to said that Gohan sucked when he was little but I disagree. He was okay, but I think he just didn't know how to properly control his overflowing power. He could only channel it when something tragic happened (example being piccolo's first death from protecting him). Nobody seems to get what I'm saying though...

@kakorot84 Yes it was. Toriyama was originally going to end the DBZ series after the Frieza saga, but fans wanted more so he continued it. During the android/cell saga he intended on making gohan the hero in which he did and end DBZ after the cell saga with goku being dead and gohan being the hero. Fans demanded more after that and than he was than going to end it with mystic gohan killing buu, but goku fanboys wanted it to be goku so he decided to change it.
@Mikey111690 I'm pretty sure the whole thing about ending the saga after frieza was just a rumor.... the only proven incident of fan tampering was the fact that vegeta survived the frieza saga as he was not intended to be a main character originally. Cell saga was intended to be about androids 19 & 20, but executive tampering created 17, 18, & cell. After that, I don't know if he intended to end the show or not.
I'll always remember this song when Cell thought he was badass and punched Gohan in the face. Gohan just looked back at him and Cell truly shit himself.

Future Gohan: The pain and suffering that he had gone through transformed him not only into a Super Saiyan, but a hardened warrior. Teen Gohan SSJ2 is the best character in the series...So cold! And as a True saiyan he played with his target, knowing that his own power was far greater than that of Cell. Never loosing focus, perfect poker-face all the time. Loved how he acted as SSJ2 in the cell saga.

@ssg4predater Where the Good Buu is mostly in control of Fat Buu and can only use his full power when angry and Evil Buu is mostly in control of Super Buu and can use his full power whenever he wants.
We saw SS3 Goku beat up the Fat Buu when they fought in the city so that's why he's stronger than Mystic Gohan.

and Goku had to step in because Gohan lost his focus during the fight with Super Buu. Goku only did better than Gohan because he's much smarter and a more experienced fighter

I'm embarrassed that I know, but I believe it was after Frieza thought he killed Goku, then Gohan left Bulma and the ship to fight Frieza. So Frieza was already in his final form. This song plays sometime then, I believe.

Everyone I've talked to said that Gohan sucked when he was little but I disagree. He was okay, but I think he just didn't know how to properly control his overflowing power. He could only channel it when something tragic happened (example being piccolo's first death from protecting him). Nobody seems to get what I'm saying though...

@kakorot84 Yes it was. Toriyama was originally going to end the DBZ series after the Frieza saga, but fans wanted more so he continued it. During the android/cell saga he intended on making gohan the hero in which he did and end DBZ after the cell saga with goku being dead and gohan being the hero. Fans demanded more after that and than he was than going to end it with mystic gohan killing buu, but goku fanboys wanted it to be goku so he decided to change it.

@Mikey111690 I'm pretty sure the whole thing about ending the saga after frieza was just a rumor.... the only proven incident of fan tampering was the fact that vegeta survived the frieza saga as he was not intended to be a main character originally. Cell saga was intended to be about androids 19 & 20, but executive tampering created 17, 18, & cell. After that, I don't know if he intended to end the show or not.
