Shadow of the colossus PSU beta demo

holy shit that's the first time i've ever found any video with a clip that actually GOES to the top of the tower and shows it for more than 5 seconds...that has been the biggest secret in all of SotC for me...seeing what it looks like up there UP CLOSE from every direction..but in the full version if your camera gets anywhere near it all the textures just disappear...but in the beta they stay there, is that how that works? any chance of making a video on getting a full view around it?

the "path" of north part of the map looks like its on the top of a mountain..weird

perhaps in the initial designs of the game we should go there for the last battle or something, but we should get there by a "secret way" over the mountain.or might it was a secret and so the path would be over the mountain

the forest must have been the arena of battle of a deleted colossus but when they deleted it, the noise when you may begin fighting continued there for some reason

I guess only the E3 demo had the headless Mono in the garden? Also, Wander had a sideways sword attack from atop Agro. The save shrines would 'blink' in and out of view as you approached them. There was also a bridge to (maybe the east?) that would cause the game to crash when you got halfway across. The door to the temple (after crossing the main bridge) was open, but there'd be an invisible wall if you tried to go back out to the bridge.

Wow, the top of the temple looks much different, and the textures are fresher and much crisper. It...actually looks like it was supposed to be accessible...hmm...I wonder.... :O

Pikol, I'm sure that you already know there were a few colossi re-vamped and a few cut completely out of the game(dragon =/). This being the BETA demo...do you think you could be able to reach new areas not in the full version and explore the world a little more thoroughly? I'm so curious about the dam you found! X}

Did you mod the camera up there or did you blast up there? Yeah, normal textures? They were planning something up there. I just know it. Cind of sucks that there sort of ugly in the final version up there. =/

I also like how the textures change when you go higher up the temple in the demo version.

The Castle-top from the Demo looks more Medieval Castle like. Instead of the mythical destroyed top from the final Ver.

I wonder if you can "Teleport" to the Eastern Area in the Demo, im still thinking that the E.A was to hide 15th colossus.

Wow awesome thanks for doing this demo. Those strange sounds in the forest and the part of the map showing land instead of clouds! Very interesting. I noticed headless mono wasn't in the secret garden I still wonder why they had her model hanging out up there.

The colossus is no diffrent, the way he falls after you stab him into his leg is kinda diffrent.

oh does the demo end after you defeat the 1st collosus and is their a boundary somwhere so you cant go to other collosus lairs
