@squall600 The japanese version seriously sold crazy well. PS3 version made 1st place once for top software sold I believe. 3rd or 4th for Xbox version due to loading times.

So yeah, even if the U.S. Doesn't get it, which I doubt, there WILL be a sequel thanks to sales. It needs every good character in (Kaioh, Falco, Juuza, nearly everyone, etc) and some Online Co-Op for serious success next time.

I take it that the bad thing about the game is that its the same old hack'N'slash gameplay of the Dynasty/Samurai/Orochi/Gundam Warriors from TecmoKoei.

The games themselves are overall fun. But after a bit get very repetitive. Probably not much innovation in this game. But I'd like to get it because of the added brutality of Hokuto no Ken!

The game is 59.99 dollars in US and there must be a reason why it is that much just like castlevania, MMA, Assassins Creed, NBA2k11, Madden11, etc. because it might be worth it.

If you guys are HNK fans then trust your judgement for this game and forget whether it has bad review because they havent finished the game or havent even own it. I own the game but i cant recommend it yet because i havent finished it yet. If the demo sucks its always just the tips of the iceberg anyway so try the real game.

I love the KOEI Warriors games (Dynasty, Samurai, Orochi), and this puts my favorite hack'n'slash game series with my favorite anime series. WIN WIN BAYBEH!

This game is freaking awesome, all real-time, no lagging, all the classic moments reappearring..... Better than any of the DW game so far. Any enemies u kill, you can see them piling up too, not just lying randomly on ground.

The PS3 is region free, so you can always import the European version if you need to. Koei announced that they're upping the violence level in the European release as well. I'm not sure what that means exactly, but perhaps they just want some more detail since the gore in the JP version seems somewhat choppy in terms of the animation.

I also love how you can see the differences in fighting between characters. Kenshiro's style is strong and deliberate, every hit being very powerful, but Rei instead fights lightning fast. Toki fights flowingly, since his style takes a lot after Baji Quan, Jagi's dirty as all fuck, and Raoh is just a friggin' juggernaut.

The game footage after Kenshiro's Hokuto Juhazan shows him fighting Rei, Jagi and Raoh at the same time, so I wouldn't be surprised if there's a mission mode or arena mode where you can use the other characters. I sure hope so, cause I DEFINITELY wanna be able to use Shin, Fudoh, Shuh and Souther.

Shuh must be a BEAST in combat: the Nanto Rekkyaku Kubu must be murder against crowds.
