Women are almost never competitive in the same sport as men, which is why we have womens leagues. Women aren't inferior, but they naturally have much less muscle, especially fast twitch muscle, which means they are slower, weaker, and generally easier to hurt as well.

Skateboarding doesn't require any physical skill other than jumping. Women might not win big air contests, but they should be equally technical. They aren't.

There is nothing physically stopping a woman from being as competitive as a male skater, other than possibly not being to ollie quite as high. There are female gymnasts who can probably jump higher than most men, but for some reason we have yet to see a truly talented female skater.
