As his come round that bend his let off the thottle and the back end has come round, his obviously noticed that and steered in the opposite direction, then suddenly the tyres have got grip and thrown him straight up that bank! poor driving skill if you ask me! Its slow into the bend, fast out! Every good driver should know this! Or, full throttle round that bend and cumming off the throttle when theres understeer (aka understeer lift off oversteer)

How come it looks like he turned the wheel to the right at the last second?

As he was coming aroud the left hand bend the rear was sliding out so he was countersteering to the right. Then the rear wheels must have gotten some grip on a dry patch or something and straightened up quicker than the driver expected so he was stil countersteering right, plus the rear snapping back that quickly would throw it out the left. Hence shooting off to the right.

nobody was hurt, it wasn't a rally so there was no co-driver, It was hill climbing race, the guy was about to win that. My lucky friend has got a part of this wreck , bastard
