  • Hey Indi, thanks for the comment. I actually used that melodic part in a track for the 45 Tribute, called "InverNils". The 45 page seems down atm though..

Congrats on the SFX-6! Sorry about your troubles the last time you were shooting for the 6, I'm sure this time things will work out fine.

  • Hey Nils, Indigo333 here from EU... I just found a very well kept SFX-6 and was wondering, until she comes in the mail and I get some beautiful soundscapes down like such, can you make a long ambient version of the sounds that start at 1:10? :P Sorry man, I had to, this is the best sfx-6 groove I have heard yet! Peace...indi

  • Wow.. sounds awesome. Got any finished songs like this jam?

  • @gorski983 Thanks :) Not really.. Though I'm planning to work on these ideas in the near future.

My music is available on soundcloud(dot)com(slash)pokelok

  • Absolu inspirant...

Is this the MK I or the MK II?

    Greetings from Germany.

  • @spielor0815: Thanks :)

The keyboard version is only available as mk1.

  • @Nilspils73

The only thing that stops me from buying an MK I is the facte, that the MK II has a better signal to noise ratio. But I never heard them site to site, so I cant't say anything about the difference in terms of signal to noise ratio.

How would you judge the signal to noise ratio on your MK I? Can you live with it? Would you sell your MK I for a MK II?

    Thank you!

  • @spielor0815

There are dfinitely synths out there with a better SNR than the MKI, but with careful level setting I rarely find it to a be a problem.

Selling the SFX-6 for a SFX-60MKII involves losing the keyboard and the joystick, and though it is a clunky machine in some ways, I love the completeness and the weirdness of the SFX-6. Having the keyboard there is great, it interacts very well with the sequencer. The new MKII engines are great, but for now I have my hands full with the MKI :)

  • Gotta agree with the other comments, these 3 clips are incredibly inspiring for MnM owners as well as a great advert for those tempted to buy one. Congrats Nils, just the OT to master now ;)

  • @winchy808

Hehe, well there's no OT in my studio quite yet, but one day.. ;)

Thanks a lot for the nice comments!

  • Yes, all Monomachine sounds.

  • Greetings,

Are all the sounds coming from the monomachine?

  • This is beyond impressive. The monomachine sounds beautiful as is the performance and over all sound of this little jam. : )
