  • Sadly, an all too realistic glimpse into what all of us--let alone the "stars" of the past, can expect, that is, if you're "lucky" enough to live that long.

  • would have loved to been there

  • Thanx for posting!

  • would be great is the commentators would stop talking when Shelly was speaking. Jeesh

  • shelley rocks, startled to see her looking like this but the books are gr8 the films are classics and the body of work indelibly shelley

  • I read Ms. Winter`s Biographies in my teen years. A remarkable writer. And her zest for life was incredible. She didn`t waste a day. Nor did she seem to, through her writing, ever place herself as second best. Yet very modest. May her memory always remain a blessing. May she rest in peace.

  • damn, lol. barrage of people who love her! i would be like who, what, huh, where, say it again? classy and beautiful woman with spunk. i have got to see more of her films. i loved her on roseanne, though.

  • she lost a lot of weight

  • 

  • Gracias Shelley, siempre te voy a recordar...

  • The studios fed drugs to the stars like candy. No wonder so many of them suffered from problems with addictions.

  • Heartbreaking.

  • GREAT ACTRESS

  • Thank You

  • How adorable although had a couple strokes and a hard time speaking but still obviously sharp as a tack. We love you Shelley RIP

  • A fine actress, but why did she appear in public without her teeth?

  • What a woman - remember her, not so frail like here!

  • I had the great honor to meet Shelley a few months before she got so ill.

We were at The Silver Spoon in West Hollywood. She and her friends were wheeling her in for brunch. There wasn't a table for her. We were almost done and we said, "Miss Winters, please take our table". She was so sweet. She wheeled herself over and took my hand and we chatted for a few moments.

    She was a scream!

  • Loved Shelley - one of the greatest actresses ever! I remember seeing her on various TV talk-shows and she was ALWAYS interesting and funny. She also wrote two books which were very good reads - I was proud to know that she and I share the same birthday - 18 August. R.I.P., dear one.

  • So glad she was able to be with loved ones in her last year.

  • Shelley Winters was truly a great actress in an age when that superlative is used much too freely. Her television talk-show appearances were always a lot of fun becasue SHE was a lot of fun - you knew it was no act. Her books were great reads and I was a bit proud to know that she and I shared the same birthday - 18 August. Rest well, dear Shelley. Thanks for posting this!

  • is that Shelley Winters ? i dont reconice her....

  • Skip E. Lowe's best friend. He loved her very much and misses her.

  • Oh dear. Shelley looks very old here. Sad.

  • Yes, this is very hard to watch. She was so awesome.

  • Great video. Shelley was a treasure. Her artistry & unique persona will be remembered for many, many years!!
