  • i am an orphan i will be ready in 5 minutes LOL

  • hey look before new money boarded the titanic she was working at the orphanage

  • Annie looks a lot like Hilary Hahn... o.o

  • I wonder what she will look like after few years.

  • At 4:37 she was like Annie anit no orphan lol. I was cracking up when i first saw that. I think this one is funny, But I think the 1982 version is better.

  • The Grace in this movie is amazing, and she sings beautifully, but as the secretary Ms Grace Farrell, the 1982 version Grace is better

  • the problem with this movie is that everything happens too quickly and Ms. Hannigan and Mr. Warbucks are too "nice"

  • blue looks really good on annie

  • 1930s

  • ms hannigan is supposed to be drunk and sloppy

  • My god. New Miss Hannigan has NOTHING on Carol Burnett!! The notes were epic but the rest was.... Disappointing :/

  • Kathy Bates did a good job singing @ 3:06 on out

  • This movie first introduced me to the wonder that is Audra McDonald. I've been addicted ever since!

  • Ms. Hannigan needs to find a diffrent job!

  • I always get goosebumps when i hear them sing.

  • I like Annie's hair better in this... i love Kathy Bates however, the song she sings Little Girls sounds TERRIBLE!!

  • shara hyland from geek charming is in this

  • @loumel444 isnt she the little girl who always got picked on? (in the movie)

  • Audra McDonald is such an amazing Grace. She's so lovely and graceful. It doesn't help she has one of the most amazing voices ever. I love this Grace better than 1982.

  • I have that stuffed dog! The one that they gave Annie xD :D

  • ya it is a old video

  • I hate how off beat they are all in their songs

  • I prefer the original Annie with the orange affro. She just had that extra personality. I think this kids a slightly stronger singer, but overall, I prefer the 80s version. And grace is so much more glamorous than this lady. Mmmm....grace.

  • Farrell

  • Where the hell is sandy and why did they cut out all the servants singing parts and I DISLIKE this whole cast u just can't beat the original and how much more went into it plus miss Darrel was gorgeous with her hair down

  • I always felt bad for the other girls in the orphanage. they shouldve all spent christmas at the mansion.

  • wow...this version is actually palatable. Unlike the original with the irritating little brat with the afro. I get how people can like the original better though. It had the classic film musical choreography and carol Burnette. But let's face it, Hannigon would never teach them acrobatics and the missing material is just way to much.

  • Pedobear approves

  • Where did those two orphans come from at the end of "little girls"

  • @salecreek131

Well to make it more realistic they had to put more orphans in it then just 7 so they added 2 other orphans for a different room. I know I was thinking that too but then I clicked on

  • Perfect ending lol

  • Who are you?

    IM ANNIE *smile*

  • I love dance scenes! :)

  • its more like, im watching a theatrical comedy show :)) if theatrical shows nowadays would be like this..it wouldn't be boring :P

  • I didn´t know that Kathy Bates could sing... what a good voice. And what a superduper actor she is.

  • Why can't movies be made like this still

  • Now i know where that song from family guy 'man, this house is freakin sweet', came from.

  • i wish i had one of those scooters

  • wow "graces" voice is amonzong!! :O! :D

  • eeeeeep victor garber =}

  • If only you had the 1982 Ms. Hannigan and this Ms. Hannigan together as one Ms. Hannigan......oh how awesome that would be!

  • Annie is such a cute little girl. I wonder what she looks like now?

  • in an orphanage where kids are deprived of luxuries of even the basic kind, why would Miss Hannigan find a fancy lollipop in her bed?

  • There are some things that are better in the 1982 Annie and some that are better in this version, in my opinion. And one thing that I think is better in this version in Kathy Bates as Ms. Hannigan. She is just perfect!

  • OMG! That little girl "Molly"

is now "Haley Dunphy" on Modern Family.

    What a coinkee-dinkk!

    ~Mikayla :)

  • Where The Hell Is Sandy??? Ugh....I hate this version. Smh....I hate Disney.

  • hey were did the tooth brush go?

  • i love how they always trick her and then kick her foot.

  • Nothing against African Americans but in the 1940s they were still treated badly. I doubt one would be a secretary to the richest man in the world.

  • @kkmanko98 True. But not everyone felt the same about blacks, especially in the North. He's the richest man in the world, so if he wanted to have a black secretary, he'd have the power to do so regardless of what anyone else thougt.

  • This version is cute, but it's so typical Disney! I really just love the old, 1982-version! It's much better...

  • "listen, if your peddling beauty products, i don't need any." da best

  • I love the new Annie's hair way better than the 1982 hairstyle of Annie

  • @dania4510001 You speak complete hokum. The 1982 can not be compared to this Disney work because it is more superior. The choreography and actors of the 1982 Annie was brilliant and inspiring while the Disney ones are bland and boring. If you've actually watched the older Annie, I think you would convincingly agree that this Disney Annie is inferior it it. For one, the actors aren't convincing in Annie 1999 while in the 1982 Annie the actors felt real and believable. This remake is DISAPPOINTING

  • The 1982 version of Annie is nice but this version of Annie is way better

  • Alicia Morton is adorable! I miss the curly, frizzy, 1982 Annie hair, though...

  • i'm probably gonna be crucified for this comment, but i LOVE the main kid NOT having a red afro

  • i look like annie and i sing like her not to brag

  • Grace's voice is too harsh-sounding to me. It needs to be a little softer.

  • Yea Ms. Hannigan forgot to let the kids back in at 5:28

  • what happened 2 Sandy will she go 2 the pound :'(

  • @GoMeganLee She finds Sandy again in part 5.

  • i hope you alica morton and the other charcters do another film from disney!!! wish i could SEE you in real live!!!

  • alicia morton you are very pretty and have a pretty voice!!!:)

  • THANK YOU I SUB BECAUSE IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS MOVIE

  • I am doing a play on Annie I am annie and I already have red hair

  • Disney PLEASE do another musical!!! Preferably with Audra and Victor

  • this is my fav vido who r u

  • I used to remember when I was a kid I absolutely loved the mansion routine, simply because I wanted ot be annie dancing with all of them lol And OMG I forgot about Audra!! I love her in this film and her relationship with Warbucks ;) I know that the racial relationships was different and all that but I loved that she was african-american, it made their relationship mean so much more to me. Ive always loved interacial relationships presented in racist periods, it means they broke barriers :)

  • @Jesuscountrygal I was just wondering if anyone else from mandarin had watched this

  • My school's performing Annie next wednesday and my friend Miranda is Mrs. Hannigan. She is amazing. MANDARIN MUSTANGS KICK A..!!!!!!

  • those orphans are stupid

  • My friend played Mrs hannigan in the play we did of Annie 7 years ago. She was so good

  • haha youtubes changed again.

  • thumbs up if that gawjus smile at the end ties the whole thing together for you

  • Why are the orphans so happy that Annie is leaving lol

  • @AnimalCrazyRandomGal ikr... they have to stay

  • i'm a orphan i can be ready in 5 minuets

  • "Coat, why would a kid need a coat?" LOL

  • I would so do that, hier maids train them in dance just in case i have a guest.

  • i love the 1982 file better too!

  • Kathy Bates makes the role of Ms. Hannigan so much better! ^_^

  • @gospelkeys07 There was one black maid lady somewhere....LOL

  • @ 10:49 look to the left.. the records on the wall the one oat the bottom is it just e or does the Woman on that look like Bernedette Petters?

  • Annie: Im leaving!

    Orphans:YAAAAAAAYYYYY!!!!.

    LMFAO

  • hahaha luv the part " who r yuh?"

  • the mansion is identical to the sound of music's

  • I like 1982 better this annie is weirder but prteeier

  • love this film

  • "What's the one thing I've always taught you?"

    "Never tell a lie."

And yet, you always want the girls to say "I Love You, Ms Hannigan" and lie? X3

  • lol "hello.....Everybody"

  • carol burnett played ms. hanaggin so much better... like the 1982 version overall

  • what happened to the drunk ms. hanaggin i loved!?

  • Does no one else realize that in this song they are TEACHING her how to be SPOILED?

  • *Audra*... Stupid auto-correct.

  • @corpsesign Her name is Aura McDonald, and she plays grace. And, yes, she is amazing. :D

  • omg, the black lady singing is amazing!!!! I forgot her name and character!!!

  • Her name is Ms. Hannigan. This is a very interesting version of "Annie"

  • @corpsesign her character is grace farrell

  • @gospelkeys07 i counted a handful of us in the cleaning staff ......so it wasn't completely 100% caucasian

  • punjab isnt here? D:

  • What happend to the dog ?

  • is kathy bates dead?

  • @jessebear10 no she has a tv show called harry's law but she is old

  • Wouldn't life be more fun as a musical?!

  • 'little cheeks, little teeth, everything around me is...LITTLE!' lol i love that part x

  • Think washing the windows first then the floors was a smarter choice :/ Family Guy even took the '82 version of "I'm gonna like it here," over this version. The ending of the clip was epic though!! XD Epic cuteness FTW

  • Seriously. If the color blind cast bothers people that much, I'd hate what they have to say about the Brandi version of "Cinderella" where Victor Garber and Whoopi Goldburg have an Asian son. Their heads must explode.

If the movie is specifically ABOUT race (ie. South Pacific, Miss Saigon etc) then why being pedantic about something that is completely innocent? Let the TALENT dictate the role, not race.

  • work it kathy! LIKE A BOSS <3

  • Mr.Worebucks:Who are you?

    Annie:I'm Annie (lil' kid smile)

haha thats hilareous,I also love her face

  • @TheMele97 it's mr. warbucks

  • Kathy Bates awesome belting skills FTW!!

  • i like the other annie better she was cuter but this annie sings better

  • did this number inspire this house is freakin sweet?

  • Grace: The Board of Orphans sent me here to extend Mr. Warbuck's personal invitation to an orphan to spend the holidays in his home.

Mrs. Hannigan: I'm an orphan! I can be ready in 5 minutes.

  • "Coat? Why Would A Kid Need A Coat?" Long Live Legend Kathy Bates!!

  • 7:56 She sure picked up on that quickly for someone who's never ridden a scooter. xD

  • My God, this house is freakin' sweet!

  • I just noticed this is an all girl orphan? Were they split up into boys' and girls' orphanages back then or something?

  • i like this version better because it is the same as the Broadway version

  • I love the end.

"Who are you?" "I'm Annie" -cue adorable face-

  • love her face at the end

  • i like how miss hannigan sings she's really good

  • At 10:04 I cant get over how close she is to smashing her head into the railing......

  • @ILoveRihannaNDubs You should really watch what you say online. Like the other chick said, Kathy Bates is an Oscar-winning actress who's been in a ton of movies. And we really don't want to know about your sex life. Thanks. =D

  • LOL Send a flood, send a flu, anything that you can do.

  • Dose that happen all of the time when they have someone come to stay

  • she must really hate little girls.

  • @proud2bnick cool!! 

  • mrs hannigans actress is such a bad actor! i think i would have done a better job and i cant even let my boyfriend see me in my underwear cus i get scared. even though we have done it!

  • @ILoveRihannaNDubs nobody needed to know that.

  • @ILoveRihannaNDubs you do realise that kathy bates, the actress who plays miss hannigan has won an oscar, a golden globe and eight emmy awards..... so she cant be that bad :L

and btw, whatever goes on between you, your underwear, and your boyfriend, i think you should keep to yourself.

  • 'SOME DAY, I'LL STEP ON THEIR FRECKLES! :D'

XD XD I love Kathy! <33

  • lol daddy warbucks sounds like a pimp

  • after hearing/seeing miss hannigans song, i kinda felt bad for her. kinda.

  • ''this house is friggin sweet!''

  • I love Kathy Bates :D

  • i know you are prob tired of hearing comparisons buuut i love the oringal (ya im surey ou havnt heard that before) where she seems pretty much drunk and waisted and has a bottle of spirits or wisky whatever and pouring it in the tub going off in her own world. and she seems so hystarical loved it! was so helarious! once again sorry im sure your tird of it and thanks for posting this so i can see the remake.

  • i like the first one the real one better on annie is ament tohave curly ginger hair derrr

  • @CharlieannieTurner I agree :)

  • the orphanage isnt gonna be good enough for her (that is if she does go back to the orphanage in two weeks )

  • I so love Kathy Bates, but in my opinion the actress who plays Miss Hannigan in the 1982 version is unbeatable.

  • Audra McDonald has an amazing voice!!!

  • maybe if she was nicer to the girls they wouldn't be as mean to her.... evil woman...

    This movie is awesome:)

  • 10:47 - 10:49! :):):):)

  • wow- if this was real, Annie would be 89 by now?!

  • @TheGooseyGoo which annie because alieen quinn is 32 and alicia mortan is 11-13 or even over

  • @popprincess1901 no- like if this was in real life- if there was an 11-year-old called Annie in 1933, by 2011 she'd be 89! :L

  • @TheGooseyGoo oh i get what you mean now

  • kinda funny but the original one is more funny thumps up if you agree

  • What the...Miss Hannigan is SO WEIRD!!

  • "I'M an orphan! I can be ready in 5 minutes." XD Hahaha.

  • When Annie put on the blue sailor suit dress, she totally reminded me of Madeline :)

  • Please do not brand me as a racist, and I think Audra McDonald is great in the role of Grace, but historically, I doubt that the richest man in the world would employ a 'negro', as they called them, as his main secretary.

  • @dramakid95 If this were a documentary made for the History Channel, there's not too many people who'd disagree with you. But this is a Disney fantasy. Let's enjoy the fantasy. :)

  • @dramakid95

You are not being racist, you are stating a fact. The richest man in the world would probualy hire someone with experties not because of there skin colour but its a 75:25 chance.

  • @dramakid95 You are stating a fact, but Audra Mcdonald is a good singer and actor and dancer:)

  • @dramakid95 some people that days did like afro americans and saw them as equals, maybe he did!

  • @dramakid95 I know! That always bothered me, even as a kid.

  • @dramakid95 true, but I think the one in charge of casting (or whomever employed him/her) wanted to make an impression, in spite of the historical inaccuracies xD (I do LOVE her as Grace, though. I like to think that he could see potential and not care what package it came in; a rare but possible trait in that time *ramble ramble*)

  • @dramakid95 wtffff roflrofl u r frickin hilarious!

  • @dramakid95 you need help.

  • @dramakid95 thats racist. The color of your skin doesnt matter. Condoleeza Rice was the secretary of defense and she was a dark skinned women. I was color of skin cause their americans just like you.

  • @Mystikal22693 You understand that America (most of it, at least) is as it is today because of a large movement in the 1960's called the "Civil Rights Act", effectively abolishing segregation (separation of races).

This movie takes place before that, in 1933, where pretty much every non-white was treated like scum.

  • But yea you might have a point. But what if the richest man in the world is a minority? (which he is)

  • @dramakid95 Its not racist but me being an american of color see it in a different way....you make a good point dont get me wrong its the fact of we cant truly say that there has never been a black secretary to a rich man before during that era....its a good assumption but not true....so you cant judge that matter neither can i....all we have is history that tells us stuff like that....but in most minds isnt true....
