It just seems wrong clinton making light of her own BIG lies... It's just kind of like hey it's no big deal that i lied to the world, let's make a joke out of it.
clinton was absolutely fine, she's dealing with real issues, including one that was a problem for her.
the mccain thing, in contrast, is really fucked-up when you think about. a U.S. presidential candidate stops in for two minutes to make a quick string of stupid stand-up jokes and then immediately departs. americans are living in la-la land.
meanwhile, this washington post obama supporter is so transparent in his criticism of clinton and praising of obama that it's quite sad.
With a little more nerve the McCain/Letterman skit could have been much funnier. McCain should have looked more upset and stonefaced, the way DeNiro and Pecci did on SNL.
Letterman seemed so nervous. He must cannnot stand that guy.
