lesley, im never to go back to all the things I did before the injury. its not worth taking the chance of reinjuring or worse. dr told me, we all have to find our own limits but somethings are definetely off limits, like seadoos, anything that knocks the crap out of your neck. im glad to see most of these video's have no permanent injury to the nerves around the vertebra, or the cord, thats forever. you know your bodies, if something is wrong, have an mri don't wait 15 years

I am trying to avoid surgery because my doctor told me I would lose my driver license after the surgery. Did you lose your license?

no you won't, they suggest just the time your in a neck brace because you won't be able to turn your head completely around to see if someone is coming. but when the brace comes off, your fine. don't worry, the pain of before surgery is much worse then after. listen to your dr. not anyone on the internet, best advice you can get coming from my surgeon. do what he or she says to the T ok? good luck and if you have any questions, ask your doctor, he or she has had many patients with the same.

Thank you for posting that message. I am having three vertebrae fused in my neck in April.

I have suffered for at least 15 years with exactly the same problems you experienced.
