the .50 cal isnt used for everyday sniper rifles. It's actually used as an anti-tank weapon. it has enough power to shoot through enemy armour, buildings, and at extreme long distances. its more of a "bazooka" if you ask me. haha

@diapysik it is. i've shot one, and have a bullet. the casing is 6 inches long, the actual bullet holds another 2-3 inches. it's not a musket, its a sniper rifle. muskets shoot gun powder and were used about 150 years ago. look it up, it can penetrate armour and shoot at a 3 mile range.

@coolyflash the barrett actually has a sort of recoil reduction system where the barrel moves to keep from causing harm to the user so u probably wont be holding it upright (unless ur built like a tank) but u shouldn't be knocking you shoulder out of it's socket either.
