It's ep.129-'In Jigen, I Saw the Gentleness of a Man's Soul', god I love this one, Jigen removing a bullet from that woman's leg with just a pocket knife and some brandy is one of the hottest things I've ever seen! :P

That is the most memorable episode for me in Lupin the 3rd entire series. I've been in love with Jigen since then. Thank you for the great video of my love, Jigen!

There's a discrepancy whether he smokes the king size (standard size) or the super longs (filter 100's). But Pall Mall didn't make filtered cigarettes til 1987 I think... Either way he smokes Pall Malls. They're pretty good I smoke them as my preferred brand.

Jigen is pretty awesome a nice foil to Lupin and adds a bit of dull satirical wit to the series.

What makes you think he smokes filtered cigarettes? In Lupin vs. the Clones (Mystery/Secret of Mamo), Jigen is shown pulling a cig from a pack of Pall Malls that has the classic design of the unfiltered cigarettes that are still sold today. I doubt he smokes filters. (Also, the Pall Mall design was removed from the recent North American dvd release.)

I just read it with some DVDs that I have.

If you think about it, Pall Malls weren't filtered until 1987. So you do have a very good point.

No... it's not even a real brand. It's a spoof of Pall Mall brand (which Jigen actually smokes, according to the first Lupin theatrical movie).
