  • Bahot, bahot shukriya Swaraj Singh ji for your compliments and wishes:-)

  • Welcome back ...

  • Thanks Raj... you are still in India ?

  • I am hearing it third time in last one week, responding & rating today. 5***** all the way as that is the limit. Best Wishes.

  • I have heard Farida Khanum, Iqbal Bano and Asha Bhonsle versions before and now yours. Each comes with a different musical personality while retaining the plaintive sweetness of the lyrics. The technical suggestion by Khalid Bhai , an expert analyst, should be quite valuable. I can only add that I love the "goonj" in your voice. It adds a special shine to your vocal personalty. This is a beautiful performance in the incremental build up at the start and in the slow descent at the end.

  • Here's what I mean by the word goonj .Studio songs normally come straight from the lips of the singer to our ears. Your voice has the concert quality ,so that it not only comes to our ears but also softly fills up the atmosphere in its vicinity. It actually sounds sweeter to my ears. I consider it an asset to your voice, Ms. Nadig.

  • My dear chamogaa (Vipan bhai) means, what i usually express the *Sound-Print* is explicit. Khalid Asghar.

  • Khalid Sahab:

    I am not sure I understand "Sound-Print" - perhaps a technical term?

  • It is clear. We see a picture and comment: The print is clear, & fine enlargement. " Sound-Print: is not a music technical word, but to express a voice, which is clear with consonance. MEANS: The words are explicitly placed on music notes with clear frequency of sound and the words are vividly pronounced with out ambiguity. Curiousity adds to music, when taken seriously. i appreciate your query.. Khalid Asghar.

  • Thank you for the explanation of 'goonj' and the compliments. It's certainly an enriching experience to have your, Zaidi Sahab's and Asghar Sahab's appreciation and compliments. I will certainly make every effort to deserve your continued support, encouragement, listenership:)

  • Glad you find my feedback of some value, Ms. Nadig. Being musicians themselves, Khalid Bhai and Qasim Bhai are the real experts like you in this line of endeavor, but I am always happy to chip in with my perspective purely as a listener. There was a time in my youth when I was able to sing a bit for family and friends. Not anymore.

  • Thanks for sending me this song for my pleasure. No doubt, the artsit rendered with care, confidence and balance. Especially the wind-up melody line was presented with care and confidence. Also, the presentation of the lyric words were wonderful with ease and comfort. BUT, if i can suggest, is one matter at this moment: Please practise your voice to stay on 3rd octave, technically called: The Tarasthan. Practise to use the notes, Teevar Rekhab, Gandhar and try to touch Madham. Khalid Asghar.

  • Khalid Sahab:

Your words of encouragement, appreciation and advice is of great value to me - I agree I need to do more riyaz...

  • Unbelievable. The confidence, control and timber of voice at the display are unexampled. Slight variations of timing and pronunciation are not noticeable, in ordinary listening. Where is Chamogaa's comment? It is mandatory for this classic ghazal. I invite/request Vipan bhai to kindly express his opinion. Great pleasure listening to it. Thanks jabasong for sharing.

  • Thanks, Qasim Bhai. Between you and Khalid Bhai, much ground has already been covered. All I can add is how my ears respond. And they respond with joy listening to this song by Ms. Nadig.

  • Vipan bhai, if her voice is appealing to your ears, then she has qualified all the tests, because you are one of the greatest listeners I have known in my life.

  • Zaidi Sahab, you said it so well. Chamogaa ji's deep understanding of the musical idiom, his erudite expression and enormous wisdom makes him a 'Original listener' (a phrase I borrow from Aravind Adiga's 'White Tiger'). I feel elated by your, Chamogaa Ji's and Asghar Sahab's words of appreciation.

  • Chamogaa Ji:

The joy that your words bring, are all mine!!!

  • Once again beautiful rendition. Music has no barrier and sky has no limits for you. You have mastered gazhal singing so well.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • excellent, aap har type ke gane ga sakti hai,

    5*****
