A wonderful ghazal wonderfully sung by Jayanthi jee. . This is one immortal ghazal by Fayyaz Hashimi. I have heard Farida Khanum, Iqbal Bano and Asha Bhonsle versions before and now yours. Each comes with a different musical personality while retaining the plaintive sweetness of the lyrics. The technical suggestion by Khalid Bhai , an expert analyst, should be quite valuable. I can only add that I love the "goonj" in your voice. It adds a special shine to your vocal personalty. This is a beautiful performance in the incremental build up at the start and in the slow descent at the end.
Here's what I mean by the word goonj .Studio songs normally come straight from the lips of the singer to our ears. Your voice has the concert quality ,so that it not only comes to our ears but also softly fills up the atmosphere in its vicinity. It actually sounds sweeter to my ears. I consider it an asset to your voice, Ms. Nadig.
It is clear. We see a picture and comment: The print is clear, & fine enlargement. " Sound-Print: is not a music technical word, but to express a voice, which is clear with consonance. MEANS: The words are explicitly placed on music notes with clear frequency of sound and the words are vividly pronounced with out ambiguity. Curiousity adds to music, when taken seriously. i appreciate your query.. Khalid Asghar.
