  • dont u ever freak out looking down at ur shirt

  • Its really helps =)

  • Strengthen the "Stranger"!

  • i found that if u move the middle finger up 1 fret it changes it to e minor

  • @12yearoldyngwie1 or A Dorian...

  • "its magic!!" LOL

  • thank you, you are the man

  • ehm......we're gonna buld hands?.....

  • Is your guitar a semitone flat?

  • My left fingers are already strong and alil bit fast^^ but my right hand is slow^^ i cant pick with my left with much speed^^

  • @putangina101010 you strum with your left hand ? so your a lefty ?

  • ITS MAGIC

  • 4:13 HAHAHAHAH THAT FACE!

  • 4:13 WTF LOL HAHAHAHAH :D

  • I like your guitar! Thanks for the exercises.

  • Oh no there's a spider on your shirt kill it!

  • take the scratch plate off ur L.P would look even prettier

  • @74row I agree why leave the pick guard on it

  • Really dig that shirt! Great lesson to thanks!

  • People that have miserable lives have nothing nice to say about anyone or anything...they just plane suck....i

  • yeah, fuck you !

  • Why advise players to keep those hammer-ons 'clean' when even the dude in the video can't keep them clean :S. 2:56s - 3:00s, you can clearly hear the open B string getting in the way, and the intonation on his guitar sounds wrong, some of them sound like dull echoey thuds to the fretboard than a note. Appalling video and the guy looks like some darts player from the 70's.

  • i got to say that he's no eddie, I mean I think he's the only one (other than a lot of other guitarists) who can do it super clean. Maybe if he was to move the palm more closer to the bridge.

  • hahahaha dart player for the 70s -- that's hilarious!

  • wrong tuning

  • finger exercises are very very helpful in building strength and speed when you want to increase your ability to play lead guitar. Im doing exercises everyday. Im not good yet but that's because I have not picked up my guitar in a long time. Just like working out in the gym, you need to exercise your fingers. And your fingers and hands will hurt. No pain, no gain.

  • great amp. wish i had the money...

  • za guitar is in e flat tuning

  • That's an ugly ass guitar, lol

  • thanks, ill try it right now

    wish me luck :)

  • nice guitar.

  • im new to plectrum use, but played without for years. Anyone know of a technique that will help improve timing between my left and right hands

  • Chromatic finger exercises will help to sync your hands technique. :)

  • thank you.

  • That's the kind of exercise to work with clean sound. Distortion can make you think you sound good, but it just hides shit sometimes.

if it sounds clear and even in clean sound, it will sound awesome with distortion ;)

  • does lead guitar playing really strengthen your fingers to the point where you can pluck someones eyeball from their head with virtually no effort?

  • dude. wtf.

    and yes

  • @sirlordwhitman i think so...

  • Great stuff!

Legato is the best way to build a strong confident fretting hand, & makes a massive improvement in your control, & tone of your playing overall.

  • lol its a magic guitar i wanna a magic guitar too (pull offs) lol

  • Hey Tim, I made it to the #2 most subscribed musician of the week (my last channel was shut down LOL). Thanks for the inspiration!

  • I just started playing guitar and the first thing I learned was playing the intro to thunder struck. Even after drilling that into my pinky not having touched a guitar string before, it hurts just watching someone rip off the high E string like that. ahaha

I have a question. It's great that I'm learning scales and techniques and all, but how does one go about actually throwing bite sized bits like this and scales into a tasty riff meal. Just play around with it?

  • doood this guy has lp customs out the ying yang

  • he has a sick guitar

  • it's a les paul super custom

  • british.

  • man ...why dont you put your distorsion more stronger ...????

  • Because playing with less distortion or no distortion forces you to focus more on technique which is the true key to speed. Try it sometime.

  • ...lol iplay guiatr for 12 years ...i have tried ...lol ..and i know it ...it's for him ..he looks like a begginer with that distorsion

  • I thought he was gonna yank his calluses off for a minute

  • seriously?

  • great video and helped me a lot but when i watch this you remind me of 'keith miller' from Eastenders

  • hahahhaa dude i so got that aswell

  • AWesome

  • my friends been playing guitar for only 1 year and he shreds like crazy. i've been playing for 3 years, and im nowhere near as good as him. He makes me sooo jealous...im like depressed now...theres so many people that are better than me at guitar...its sad... :(

  • have you tried other instruments like a bass? i went from bass to guitar lol

  • nah lol. i used to play piano when i was little but thats about it lol. I'm gonna be the best guitarist in the world someday. haha. im gonna strive to become the best. ;)

  • cool im happy to hear that maybe one day ill be like o shit i use to talk to that famous guitar player on youtube lol, but really good luck keep practicing

  • Just practice.

  • practice makes perfect. play more

  • I know it can be depressing sometimes but the key is to NEVER compare your progress to someone else. Everybody improves at their own pace. Maybe modify your practice schedule. Have a clearly defined goal and objective when you pick up the guitar. After doing your scales/speed/accuracy drills, treat yourself with some mindless noodling around. Don't give up man. It'll happen for ya. I guarantee it.

  • Hey, thanks sooo much for that comment. It really made me feel a lot better. Thanks so much man! I'm going to follow ur advice. haha. Once again, Thank You. :)

  • i disagree. compitition is a great incentive

  • for extra strength use ur left hand to wank aswell as hammer on and pull off....

  • its a very striking resemblance to AC/DC

    thunder struck

  • Awesome!!

Dude, theres a huge spider on you man lol

  • lol trippin'

  • very good.....

    i'm off to practice now!

  • I don't remember Gibson stopping the fret inlays on any LP. What model is that?

  • I don't like the tone of that les paul, I think they actually managed to ruin it. :-/

  • ugh I hope that's just the amp, that guitar is too beautiful to suffer bad tone :/

  • thnx

  • its hagrid lol

  • tru

    e lmao XD

  • ahaha XD

  • True XD

  • This is a great exercise to do when watching tv and the add breaks come on, even on an unplugged guitar or bass.

It'd be great to help improve you tapping too.

If your doing this live (if its part of a song) you could chug a beer, play it behind your head or in-front of your face so it looks like your playing with your teeth...

  • "or bass" lol

  • One could even mix this up by getting the picking hand involved and play it as muted triplets. Or even let them sing.

  • Nice lesson. Thanks.

  • Nice exercises. I have decided I need to brush up on some of my techniques.

    Great lesson as always.

  • I suppose this would just be easy to cheat if you have the gain raked all the way up.

Doing this on the clean channel or an acoustic and making it sound will be a rediculous chalenge of strengh

  • Try it on an unplugged electric bass.

  • try doing this on classical guitar. Yes nylon. I do an hour of straight trills of the left hand BEFORE I start playing my pieces. That was the hardest thing coming from electric so I really think that electric guitarists need to really work on their technique on a more foundational level.

  • As long as they're enjoying themselves, who cares?

  • exactly.

  • Good exercise. Too bad some of the best exercises are annoying as hell to listen to. Headsets are sometimes a must.

  • amen brother

  • good *

  • god exercise!!!

  • yo!
