  • how can we contact these guys? i saw them and want them to come to los angeles!

  • I saw the Sex Execs at Kayo's in Portland, ME. You could dance to it and I did.

  • Ha! I saw them too at the Metro on Landsdown - mid 80's sometime, not sure.

  • I saw the "Execs" at the Chicken Box (Nantucket) on Halloween 1983 (I think, maybe '84). Some of them were wearing duck heads as costumes. It was pretty wild and was quite a party!

  • This was my #1 song to play on my radio show at WESS University Radio - East Stroudsburg . LOVE IT ! tomdavisDOTcom

  • I still has this 12", I need to get it converted so I can put it on my iPod. seems this song was featured weekly on WBCN's Friday lunchtime countdown

  • I had the EP too. Saw them live. Great group!

  • I saw these guys at the WBCN Rock n Roll Rumble also in 83. What a great show. Wish I could find a way to get this on my IPOD. Cant find any vinly of it.

  • I forget the year...went to Metro, Lunchtime concert...beer, hot-dogs and sex-execs! Yum.

  • I remember those free metro lunch concerts! Once I saw Fishbone at one of those and around 2003 I was skiing at Breckenridge, CO and Fishbone was playing at this small club and I was talking to someone and this guy throws his arm around me from behind and says "Can you dig it?" It was the lead singer from Fishbone out in the audience. I think I screamed I can dig it into the microphone he put in my face.

    small world story...

  • Those Lunch time shows were the best! went to many of them !

  • and Dan Earnshaw as the guy with the cue cards

  • and let's not forget Urszula Drabek as "my ex"

  • It's a hoot to see this here...note the personnel: Walter Clay (vocals), Andrew Barnaby (lead guitar), Sean Slade (rhythm guitar), Ted Pine (keys), Russ Gershon (tenor sax, solo), Jim Fitting (bari sax, but not on the recording I believe), Paul Kolderie (bass), Jerome Deupree (drums, but I believe Danny Johnson played on the recording). Song by Pine and Slade.

  • F*CK YEAH this is why I love YouTube. You won't find classic stuff like this anywhere else. This brings back some great college memories. "My Ex" was all over Boston college radio at one point. Wonder what happened to my 12" single of this...

  • I remember seeing this band at the Orpheum back in the mid-80s. They were the opening act for The Motels. It was one of the best all-around musical performances I've ever been to.

  • Walter Clay had style! "When I kiss you, you gonna' forget Elvis".

    Used teh damn line myselff...

  • Umm, Bordeaux.

  • Hey, Walter Clay, what do you know! See you round a nice bottle of Bordeuax!

  • I used to see these guys live all the time. They were great.

  • I saw the Sex Execs at WBCN's battle of the bands (1983, I think) & was hoping they would win - unfortunately, Til Tuesday won. Thanx for posting such a cool video! I never even knew it exsisted.

  • Glad you enjoyed it, it was from a compilation of videos from a show on cable in the mid 80's, Now included in TURN IT UP "the movie" on DVD
