That is a bunch of bull, the only way I know of to get the crossbow is in the PC version and you have to change the config file or somthing (forget exactly how to do it) and change the throwing knive animation and appearance to crossbow.

The Crossbow does exaclty the same thing as the throwing knives it just changes the animation and apearance of the character.

I personally think throwing knives are better than a crossbow. Instead of having to aim and fire, all you have to do is grab a knife and throw. Besides, crossbows are overused. *nod* (And, of course, they both do exactly the same thing. It doesn't really matter in the end.)
