  • Guh! They photoshopped Roslin's face on the cd cover so bad she looks plastic. That ain't right.

  • thanx for the upload

  • lol

  • Wow ! Simply the best score of BSG !

  • one of my favorite songs in the series, bought the second season soundtrack specifically for THIS song

  • TBQH, the taiko drums aren't really that appealing to me; it was always the violin that I loved so much! ^_^

  • 2:55 and onwards is the heart pounder

  • for me it starts at 0:56 =]

But I know what you mean!

  • @JediNg135 Starts for me when I google "Prelude to War" accordian. which I'm about to do.

  • @efetherman er, it's not google, up there on the top.

  • Can anyone name a scene within the first two seasons where this is used? I can vaguely remeber one really good one with Adama in the CIC... now I want to see it again.

I ask for the first two seasons because I only just started the third. I figure it has probably been used in the third and fourth seasons at some point.

  • This is a compilation of music used in episodes 'Pegasus' and 'Resurrection Ship part I and II'.

0-0:56 can be heard throughout 'Pegasus' when tension is building. 0:56-3:16 can be heard during the conversation Adama has with Cain where he demands Tyrol and Helo to be released, and then sends out his vipers. The next section can be heard during fight scenes. The slower end piece is mostly during Lee floating in space.

    Hope this helps,

  • Yeah, this is the best.

  • This track will always continue to be my favourite BSG musical moment...

    I completely adore this...

Coming close second, third etc... are:

    - A shape of things to come

    - Passacaglia

    - Violence and Variations

    - Master and Commander

    - Diaspora Oratorio (but that will be on the season 4 soundtrack, so I'll have to wait to hear that one in its full glory)

  • I don't think Bear has been able to top Prelude to War yet lol. I still think this is his finest piece he has written for the show for both the tension and the action sequences it was used in and that it eclipses all the other pieces he has written so far. Not an 'easy listening' piece (at least not for me) but this is his best one overall imo.
