The Pitch? A worthless piece from an irrelevant newspaper read by people desperate to be considered politically minded. The pitch is what you may read in the bathroom if you can't remember where the local porn shop is or where some shitty local band is playing. I've seen a few attempts at actual journalism on subjects such as the failing KC school system or some liberal social issue "flavor of the month" and all have fallen short of bathroom reading.
