I've done this stitch, but it doesn't always work...I've had my work "buckle" and not lie flat...Adding shells around a blanket for a border has always been a favorite for me, as is adding picot stitches evenly spaced around. Like sc in next 3 sts, picot, sc in next 3 sts, picot..all the way around. It looks so nice, and the piece will lie flat. But again, it may depend on the piece...a picot may look too "feminine", and the piece may call for a bolder type border. Very nice, Mike!
mike, HELP!!! I have crocheted my first baby blanket ever. Of course it is uneven on the ends, How do I fix it to where it looks square?
