@anonymousQ45 First of all i'm not insucure.Second of all it's true that society today thinks that light-skinned women are better-looking than dark-skinned females.I know there's a lot of videos for light-skinned females and that's my point-where is the videos showing love for the darker complexed females?I've seen beautiful dark females before and i think dark-skin is pretty.Shit like this is what causing some dark skin woen to bleach their skin so they can meet the european standered of beauty

@anonymousQ45 I've only seen a few videos deticated to dark-skinned females.The rest is always light-skinned vs dark-skinned.I'm a light-skinned female and i usally date dark men.But really complexion and race don't matter to me-it's the inside that counts.And by the end of the day no matter if you light or dark black is black and black is beautiful.

@8luvbug This video isn't about any group of females being better or worse. I made the video because I saw tons of videos on here dedicated to black females or white females from all over the world & very few to mixed women. Being a multiracial woman, I wanted to make a video of biracial/multiracial women. The same reason applies for the making of the biracial men/children videos.

@briarts I don't know if either of Dandridge's parents were the product of one white parent and one black parent. I've read two biographies on her and neither account alluded to this claim. My point is that neither of Dorothy Dandridge's parents was recognized as white during their lifetimes. They both lived within the confines of their racial caste, which was not white. Did Dandridge have some European admixture? I don't doubt that she did, but so do a lot of other black people in America.

@HumbleHarry I've read that her father was a first-generation mulatto, meaning he had one black parent & one white parent. I also read that her mother was of mixed ancestry as well. Whether this is true or not, I'm not sure, but I put her in the video based on what I have read.

@briarts That Dorothy Dangridge's parents were of mixed heritage. The reason I ask is because I read a biography on her and have never heard that before. I know the media and people love to make black women mixed even when they aren't. Most blacks have a mixed heritage anyway. I could be wrong, but at least I think her mother was a black woman (saw her pic) and she looks "fully black" to me.

I always assumed she was mixed, but never certain & several websites I went to said she was of mixed heritage & that her father was biracial (black/white) of Jamaican & English descent. Some websites also said that her mother was black/Native American. The biography would be more accurate though.

@briarts Oh, I see. I read her biography a long time ago, so maybe I missed it. Being that AA's are technically mixed, I'm positive she has mixed heritage, but I don't think she's biracial.

@briarts, yes, mixed is mixed. One of them looks white, however, and is likely to be seen as white. Still mixed, yes. However, mixed or not, appearances will always draw some type of reaction from others.

@briarts, it will always be opinion. Thank goodness for freedom of choice. Some people find lighter skin or white skin to be more attractive, and it matters little if they themselves are very dark-skinned people.

Also, many people find light/white better looking because they've been brainwashed and are still stuck with that mentality. If light/white equaled beautiful, then every light/white person would be attractive.

@YaBoiAR That is a huge generalization that needs to be put to rest. The one drop rule is outdated/racist & most people today regardless of their race acknowledge that. Everyone's experiences are different & from my experience it has been the blacks who have shown me the least acceptance compared to whites.
