I have a keloid scar from major surgery... How can I get rid of it

The reason I'm even searching if you can pierce over scar tissue is because the very store this lady works at pierced my second lobe piercing at an angle and it was never able to heal properly. Now I have a bump of scar tissue on the back of my left ear. She didn't pierce my ear, but now I would never EVER recommend anyone get pierced or tatted at Zebra. The guy was careless when he pierced me, and this place upsells. Sad they're really the only "reputable" place in the East Bay of the Bay Area.

I' had my nose pierced for two months with a cork screw ring and it got pulled out by my clothing and I was unable to put it back in.. so I let it close.. Its been 3 weeks and I'm looking to get it redone.. the top of my nose is a flat scar, but on the inside there is a tiny keloid.. can I pierce this and be ok or will I have future problems??

A Keloid is NOT Hypertrophical scarring. They are completely different. A keloid is like a rubbery sort of tumor which can expand quite vastly whereas hypertrophical scarring is a raised scar which never becomes bigger than the area that is healed. I don't care is she's an 'expert'. She's wrong!!

I had keloids on my ears and didnt kno any other way to treat them other than going to a dr but i was scared so i waited till they got huge. i had the surgery and all is well but what are the odds that i will get it on my eyebrow because i plan on getting it done?????
