A combination of American crocodiles (C. acutus) and American alligators (A. mississippiensis)...in Jamaica on C. acutus (pointed nose) exist in the wild and in Louisiana only the American alligator (the blunter nosed one)...none of the croc in the video are man-eater sized! I didn't see a single one over 6 or 7 feet (C. acutus can grow to more than 18 feet, the alligator only 14.5 feet...despite false historical anecdotes of 19 feet) It's rife with more errors...but what the hell its Bond lol

@92af a mix of american alligators and nile crocodiles if im not mistaken. saltwater crocodiles are much larger and fatter than the ones in this movie, so im guessing they're nile crocs.

Moore brings a certain unflappable Bond. Connery was a more get-down-to-business Bond, while Brosnan and Craig played more badass, loose-cannon Bonds. Moore's Bond is quick on his feet and never shows fear or confusion in a difficult situation. He's calm 100% of the time.

@elenore9 They did, it was a white guy called KANANGA ironically. They were his crocodiles. There is a video showing how he did it on youtube. It took a few takes, the crocs got smarter after each take and knew what was coming and tried to bite him.

Is the tall guy with the mechanical arm called MR Big? I love the way he laughs, especially at 0:36. How much do you know about crocodiles Bond? Pebble worm in Greek. Time to feed them. The other? Pull his teeth out, yeh I'm sure he'll let you get anywhere near. Crocodiles are so ugly, they could be cute. They must look at Bond and think ah LUNCH.

Loved this film, and especially this scene. No CGI, just a damn good stunt by a damn good stuntman.
